easy access to public transportation, friendly staff. Furnitures ,esp squeaky floor needs to be remodeled. Moses was very helpful and accommodating..

Creaky floors. Hard mattress. Dripping faucets. You get what you pay for.

very good location and clean room! i definitely recommend to stay in this lovely hotel

carpets tore up cracks in walls the worst of all of our hotels on our big trip

Like most London Center small hotels this one is old and quirky. The beautiful park across the street is a great place to have morning tea or just sit for a while. There is even a giant outdoor chess set. It's one block from Paddington Station which, based on my numerous visits to London, is the best location to stay in London. The rooms are tiny and oddly shaped but clean and acceptable. The TV is terrible with only 5 channels of junk. Breakfast is not included but for $8-10 bucks the buffet is decent. I would stay here again but note that there no fewer than a dozen small hotels around the square.

When i booking the hotel, out of all, first thing that i care is FREE WI-FI. I went there, and receptionist told me wi-fi is only available at the lounge right next to reception area. NO WI-FI AVAILABLE FROM THE ACTUAL HOTEL ROOM!! :(

Good location, nice staff. Run down and needing updates badly. The room was clean but the television was a tube TV and WiFi was only good in the lobby. Overall if you can get it for a good price it is worth it for being so close to the Underground and Paddington. However, if the price is somewhat higher you are better off elsewhere.

I booked non smoking room. They provided smoking room in ground floor. The room was too small and hard to put bags. This is not called hotel. This hotel is worst than guest house

We had a triple room.It was larger than most triple rooms we have stayed in

I found several live bed bugs in my room. When I brought this up with the staff, they stated that they had rooms that they knew were infested and had not been treated!! December 2017 stay.
