Staff, and breakfast was great. Only challenge is getting taxis or Uber’s to pick you up or drop you off close so you may need to walk up/down the hill a bit.

Such a lovely place with amazing front desk staff. Will stay here every time. The peacocks were amazing!

A perfect place to begin and end your daily exploration in Lisbon. The hotel is conveniently located by one of the key attractions. It is located in an area that doesn't get a ton of late night foot traffic, so you can get a good night sleep in the very comfortable rooms. You can also conveniently get to most of the major attractions within a 10 - 20 minute walk.

The hotel is charming, classy, and comfortable. It is located next to the Castle in Lisbon, and is a bit difficult to get to. Be prepared to walk uphill whenever you are returning. The area around the Castle is very busy, but the hotel itself is a haven.

I look forward to returning to this hotel with my wife. The location is great with an old world feel (with all the modern amenities). The renovation to the property is stunning. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and everyone speaks perfect English - which helps me as I don't speak Portuguese. I will certainly return. 25-30 min from the airport.

Great hotel in Lisbon next to Castelo de São Jorge. Beautiful old building, nice courtyard. The building is old but the rooms are very nice with modern decor. Service is excellent.

To keep it brief, this is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff were extremely attentive, the breakfast was excellent, the ambiance was fantastic. This is the perfect boutique hotel for a romantic getaway.

Nice, small hotel. Quiet...except for the peacocks! Impossible to get to by car! Tough location even to get to by walking.

The location is great. Our room had a great view of the water and the castle. The staff is phenomenal. So friendly, accomodating and helpful. When IBERIA went on strike they made arrangements to get us home. Lovely quaint old part of the city. #1 in our book.
