Quirky and entertaining. The room was large and clean. Couldn’t find much better location. The breakfast was fantastic.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This hotel is in the dead center heart of the historic Portugal town center. This area has tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance and is walking distance to the water. The hotel was also very clean, my room was clean and comfortable (and decorated very funky which we loved). The rooms also had little kitchen areas and a mini fridge. I recommend booking with the breakfast included it was a full breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, toast, fruits, yogurt & granola and coffee or juice included. There also was a rooftop with a great view of the city. The rooftop did not have a bar but you could take food or drinks up there yourself to enjoy which I did every night after coming back from a long day of exploring.

It was the perfect location and very comfortable. The front desk was very helpful with my questions. The breakfast was excellent.

We liked our stay. The property was clean and centrally located. We tried the breakfast one day but the options were very limited and we did not like it much. Apart from that, everything was good.

Hotel is an unique piece of art where customer service and your comfort are valued. Excellency location, staff and amenities. Rooms have full kitchens. Close to everything you want to see. Breakfast option is worth considering. 100% satisfied with my stay

This is a fantastic location and a one-of-a-kind hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We chose to have breakfast included with the room and the food was very good - especially the pastries and cakes! The location is very central and almost all sights are walk-able from the hotel.

Overall the experience was okay, especially since we didn't spend much time in the apartment. The location couldn't be more perfect as it is walking distance to many sites, shopping and restaurants. We had a 2nd floor apartment and there was an issue with baby roaches in one of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Luckily we didn't see any in the room we slept in. The staff did offer to change our room but being that we were only there 4 nights, we just decided to tough it out. I was surprised because the apartment seemed pretty clean and we never brought food inside, so I'm not sure if this situation was caused by the restaurants below. Also, there was a really weird and unpleasant smell in the bathrooms at certain times of the day, not sure what it could have been from but I assume had something to do with the plumbing. I probably would not stay here again.

It was good. Convenient location, nice staff, good room.

We (2 adults one 10 year old) stayed none of the "Pombalino" two-bedroom apartments for 5 nights in October. This hotel is excellent. The location is perfect right in the heart of downtown but in a side street so noise isn't really any issue. Everything was easy walking distance. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety and was a great way to start each day. The staff was very courteous and helpful with directions and any other arrangements. We loved Lisbon Short Stay and highly recommend to others looking for an affordable but awesome place to stay in Lisbon.

I and my friend had great memories in this hotel. The location of hotel is very close to sightseeing spot and easy to go everywhere. And staffs are kind, I felt they made the breakfast sincerely. It was so good. The room is as nice as we could stay. Clean and wide enough.

Loved the location, the large 2 rooms, and 2 bathrooms. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the metro station. Located right in the center of everything. The room itself was very spacious. Very quirky. Excellent value for the price.

* Great location with ready access to metros, trains to Sintra, trams to Belem and Alfama, etc. * Air Shuttle (Bus 1) leaves you off in Rossio Square, five minutes from hotel for 3.5 Euros. (Reach hotel by going thru arch on lower end of Rossio). * Staff was very attentive to your needs and was very able and willing to provide advice on how to transit to your destination. * Laundry on third floor but machines are slow and take hours for a load. Night staff (Pedro) felt so bad for us that he transferred the wash into the dryer while we went to dinner. Now that is service. * Roof-top access with excellent views. * Found markets and souvenir shops in nearly Chiado a better value than elsewhere. Go there first day for provisions and last day for souvenirs (they seem to have everything you see at the attractions but for less money). * Taxis are often cheaper for two if a short distance. We took them. for example, in Belem to get from tram to Ajuda Palace and from Rossio Square to Castle in Alfama for under 5 Euros each. * Two excellent restaurants across the street at 155 and 166 (good food and generous portions compared to many other restaurants). * 434 bus in Sintra is hop on and off for three major sites. Note portions of Moors Castle are very steep with irregular steps. You can get similar views from Pena Palace for less effort. Excellent Chinese restaurant next to Sintra train station in case you want a break from local food.

We enjoyed thiscquirky hotel. The location is great as are the staff. After a testy experience getting to the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised

Decoration is very original. Room and bathroom are of good size. Air conditioner works very good. Location is excellent. Most famous plazas are only 3 or 4 block away. On one side is Barrio Alto and on the other the castle and Alfama. Metro station is only two blocks away. Very recommended. Staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel has a bar with fado shows.

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Your kind words motivate us to improve day by day. The smell is in fact a problem that most of the older buildings (like us) have in the downtown are, because of the river ties, every time the river comes up, down or even when it rains. We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, LSS

Dear Victoria, Thank you for taking the time in writing this review. We are once again extrimely sorry regarding the bug situation, it is completly under control now. As per the smell on the pluming is because of the river ties, that is why the smell comes in diferent times of the day. Unfortunately that is a problem of our older buildings in all the downtown area. We truly would like to welcome you back in the future for a better, improves experience. Best regards, Lss Team
