This was one of the grossest places I’ve ever stayed. Bathroom ceiling was wet and soggy and crumbling. Our room smelled like we were sleeping in an ashtray. The people simply walking around upstairs sounded like elephants. There were dead ants everywhere. Disgusting! If it wouldn’t have been after midnight and that we couldn’t find anything else we would have left!

The room had not been swept. The shower was broken and the plug in for the hair dryer was in a location that you could not use

Simple with no-frills, but clean, safe and friendly staff.

Small, awkward entrance and check-in was lengthy. The back entrance door near our room was propped open with a cigarette butt container for a few smokers outside - security issue and a bit sketchy. We parked in front afterward. Room was very small and the carpet felt damp, closet door was about to fall off. Bed was comfortable. For the price it's an okay hotel, but wouldn't stay there again.

The front staff was very friendly and helpful finding a restaurant. However, the facilities were terrible. The carpet in the room was torn And sticky. There was paint chips on the floor from a painting endeavor. I felt icky staying there. Would never try a microtel again. And by the way, the rooms are tiny. I guess that’s why they call them “micro”. For just a few dollars more you can get a great room elsewhere. The 3.7 guest rating was way, way, too generous.

I stayed at the hotel with my family: 4 couples, 4 rooms. I had prepaid for mine through Orbitz. Even though we all checked in separately with our own cards, and I confirmed mine was prepaid, when we checked out they charged all 4 rooms to my sister-in-law's card. She has had a difficult time getting it refunded, and when they did refund, they went ahead and charged the room the card I had given them for incidentals (even though it had already been prepaid). Essentially, they charged for the same room 3 different times, and it is very difficult to get them to refund or fix (it should not take close to 2 weeks to get them to agree to refund something they never should have charged in the first place). While the room itself was comfortable and worked great, we will be finding a different hotel next time we're in Lexington. The hassle and inconvenience of resolving this is not worth the price to stay at this Microtel.

It's an older hotel, but fairly well kept. My TV wouldn't work so they came to try to fix it but had to move to another room. They were very apologetic and situation was resolved immediately.

Small room, everything else is ok stayed here before.

was very happy with this hotel. We needed a quick overnight stay and we chose this place. Very convenient and right off the highway. Very clean rooms and a wonderful continental breakfast. Would recommend highly

Great when "catching some ZZZs is the focus of the stay. They easily provided shower chair. Great breakfast bar; Bed higher than unusual (tall so appreciated). Definitely consider during upcoming trip(s).
