Being on Fremont street was the main reason we stayed there but had a late flight and got charged full price for half a day with no comps or anything after already staying four nights.

I loved staying in the downtown area. It is way less overwhelming and crowded than the strip and everything is walking distance. Things are also less expensive. I would stay downtown over the strip anytime. As far as the golden nugget, everything was good. The pool hours were a little disappointing (10am-6pm) and it definitely would have been hard to find a chair if we had come on a weekend, the pool area is not very big. Another disappointment was the closing of the Starbucks and the chocolate store inside the hotel. I tried going to the chocolate store every day but it was never open. On our morning of checkout, house keeping knocked and opened our door at approximately 9am when checkout wasn’t until 11. I thought this was inappropriate. I called the front desk to ask about checkout being that this happened and they didn’t think anything of it and confirmed checkout was not until 1100. I asked about a late checkout and they said it would be 30$ which was a bummer, especially after housekeeping entered our room. On the second night of our stay the battery on our room door died. We had to walk down to the front desk and back which took about 10 minutes, and to wait for engineering to fix it took a while. The front desk called and gave us a 50$ food and beverage credit for the inconvenience which was really nice of them. Overall things were good with just a couple disappointments.

Restaurants inside the property open too late. Had to go to other casino's for breakfast. Other than this, property is still a great place for the Freemont St experience.

ok

Noise from Circa unbearable until after 3AM every night

Nothing worth it

Loved it!

No housekeeping, no fridge in room. Was hassled about my 11am check out.

Nice and clean place ❤️✅

Large line to wait in just to get checked in. The line was way too long. Moved us to a 2 double bed room to be closer to traveling group, but weren’t that close. Didn’t allow a late checkout

The service was wonderful and it was close to events

Regular rooms old TVs and room set up, customer service iffy.. still waiting for my deposit back.. Parking horrible

Casino was great

:-)

Disappointed that phone and Ice machine broken and vending machine out of service.

Everything was as expected

Very clean

Of you want to feel like a rock star this is the place to stay. Fairley priced and with tons of amenities and activities right at your foot step this place will make you feel like you made the best desition of your life!!

We have stayed at the Golden Nugget before and it never disappoints. Thanks so much for everything! The only thing I would suggest is that room service be available or at least be informed it was not available. I know that a pandemic is going on but I planned a day around room service and it made me late for the spa. I do want to give a shout out to my “glam squad” (nails, hair and makeup) at the spa. They made a very special day more special than I could have dreamed!

This property is old and in need of a make over. Rooms are leftovers for the 70s and in need of maintenance.
