they make it seem like you step out to the beach, you don't

The location is perfect, the beach is very clean and water is just crystal clear. I love that there are recycling bins, I wish it could be for more than just cans but I still like that they have them. Waking up and being able to open the sliding doors entirely to enjoy the morning breeze was just absolutely amazing; we also enjoy having breakfast in our lanai. We are definitely looking forward to staying here when we go back to Maui. Thank you!

I loved the full sized kitchen and we were able to prepare several meals instead of the expense of restaurant eating. When paying the final cleaning expenses I asked for additional coffee and the lady said they normally only have a starter pack and we had to provide our own. She did give us several additional packages for free. Very appreciated! I did go buy coffee filters and coffee of our own but ended up leaving the filters for future guests to use. The Turtle pool right outside our room was under reconstruction, that was a bummer. So close but not accessible.

It's near a lovely beach but the rooms were just okay, no daily housekeeping or amenities otherwise like rentals for beach or cafe.

The private beach and location of property was awesome.

Imthere were hidden feed. I had to pay 90 for check in service then another 130. Cleaning fee I was unaware of both feed. Very disatified about that. Not sure if i ll use orbits in the fiture

Room smelled like chemicals for the whole week. Even when we left the windows and doors open to air it out. Bed was really uncomfortable. Room size and full kitchen was great. Shower was large. Would spend a little extra per night and stay somewhere else next time. Great location, just a few minutes drive from multiple beaches and shopping locations.

I have had better and I have seen better for the price I had to pay this did not measure up

This condominium complex seats on the golf course within a short walk from the great Kaanapali beach. Since units are owned by different owners your experience may vary. We had a nicely decorated unit with large rooms. Unit size is a definite plus. Grounds are well maintained. The complex has three swimming pools, but the only hot tub was broken during all our stay. Plenty of parking and since it is in the parking structure, you car never gets hot - definite plus. There is a small shopping mall next to the property with a few shops and restaurants. Service is pretty much nonexistent. You have a washer/drier unit in the condo - definite plus. But they don't change your towels (you have to wash them yourself) or bad sheets. You have to take out trash yourself and they don't provide trash bags. In fact they don't provide anything (coffee, soap, toilet paper). We never saw cleaning crew in our room, and they were kinda rude when we run into them in the hallways. Still, they charged us daily service fee and extra $300 at the end of our stay, like all other hotels we stayed in Hawaii. Except other hotels did service the rooms.

It was beautiful! I would recommend the Maui eldorado to everyone

great location and value close to the beach, shopping, golf and restaurants.

I was asked by the night hotel clerk if I ever stayed in their hotel. I said no, however I had stayed twice before and the clerk then brought out a form for me to sign for $14 a day recreation fee. And another $140 for a cleaning charge after I checked out. No service while there and the big pool and recreation area was closed for remolding?? Prior stays never charged me for cleaning after checkout, since the hotel charges the owners of the time share. It was a shake down. And charging for a facilities that were closed for construction?? What a shake down.

When we noticed the ceiling was leaking after we spent the morning on the beach we call and reported it. The quickly fixed it, but the remaining of our stay you could smell the odd odor coming from the wet ceiling. Then we started noticing the other spots that had fresh paint over previous leaks.

We were greeted with wonderful Hawaiian hospitality. The staff was helpful because our room was not what we needed and they upgraded us to a much better room. They do have a shuttle down to the beach, needed because the hotel is so far from the Kaanipali beach. The room was wonderfully quiet, even though it is close to the highway. Everything we would need was in the room. The beds were perfect, and the AC worked great in the hot humid summer.

We had a wonderful week's stay at the Maui Eldorado. Rooms are very spacious and it was nice to have a kitchen and large lanai. It's defiantly worth it to pay the extra $$ for the Partial Ocean View. It's a ways back from the beach but once you get there there is a nice bungalow to hang out in all day with a great beach for snorkeling. Great for families looking for a laid back time without all the extra hidden fees the large hotels charge.

We really enjoyed the Maui Eldorado. The room was great; comfy bed, beautiful shower, nice lanai with view of golf course, ocean and sunset, well stocked kitchen with all the basics. The room seemed pretty clean, except the floor. First room had problem with washing machine, but staff had us moved in just a couple of minutes. A little bit of a walk to the cabana, but not terrible. Great location, close to Lahaina and Whalers Village. Fairway Shops were very close; rent snorkel gear (pricey but super convenient), and good breakfast at CJ's diner/deli when I didn't want to cook.

The room has a full kitchen, great for cooking. We have breakfast sausages everyday with fried eggs. About 5 mins walk to the beach, and 10 mins walk to the black rock snorkling spot. Essentially, it is a great combination, just as we needed. The staff is very helpful, but expect to change your own towels at the housekeeping department. There are some salt/pepper, coffee cream, sugar, and we stocked up our own laundry detergent, cooking oil, and of course maui coffeee.
