Most of the property has been updated. They are continuing to finish that process (for example they had just replaced all of the windows recently). The room was very clean, but some common areas not so much (the tables above the pool area hadn’t been wiped down in a long time - very sticky, dirty, etc). The pool area is nice and large, but very cold (water and air temp).

Check-in was very smooth and the front desk personnel helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel has been updated, but not real well. The quality of materials used was very low, and not applied well. For example, the "new" tiles are very cheap looking, and when they re-sprayed the texture on the ceilings, it didn't stick well and is peeling off in places. The cleanliness was not great - there was a rather large amount of hair stuck to the bathroom floor. The pool area was large, and for the most part nice. Our kids did complain that the water was very cold, which is unlike them.

The property has full potential to be a really great hotel. The staff seemed like they all hated there jobs, there simply was no basic customer service skill whats so ever... Not even a simple greeting upon arrive, smiles nothing...They were very much lacking in the customer service dept. The room would be great if the room was actually clean appun checkin. The shower was obviously not clean. There was a huge globb of hair stuck on the back of it. The coffee pot which was placed in the bathroom (yuk) was never cleaned. The basic dusting to the room was anything to be desired. If you have alllergies, you prob would wanna think twice before staying here. The last big isssue there was globbs of ketchup all over the floor. Aside from all the issues the pool was great for lil ones.

Pool was nice but extremely over crowded. Our room’s sink clogged after once use and never drained down. There was food left in the fridge from a customer previous to us. We also found a toy on the floor in the corner, we are uncertain how well our room had been cleaned.

When we arrived and I inquired if our room faced the Mississippi river we were told it did not. However, the desk clerk upgraded our room so we had a patio with sliding glass door right on the Mississippi river at no extra charge. The breakfast was really good. And the pool area was clean and fun!

The room was clean, breakfast was amazing, and loved the pool. Everyone was extremely friendly. Will be staying there again.

We came by boat, so it was so easy to dock and walk up to the hotel. The room was cooled down which was a lovely touch!

Very old and dirty. The pool was nice but the water and the pool area was cold ! Also on Sunday morning an employee arrived and told us to leave the pool! The kids were still playing and I think they should clean the pool area in another time .

A bit outdated with rooms facing the indoor pool area, which makes it feel creepy that others are looking at you from their bed rooms while you’re enjoying the pool. The carpets need to be cleaned. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel to stay with family.

Great swimming pool area and large breakfast available each morning!

The beds were very uncomfortable. The parking was terrible too. The breakfast was good but the person working un the room was very nosy.

the food in restaurant was delicious and the waitress very nice rooms walls must be very thin

Very good hotel. Located on the river. Nice grounds. Very good service, staff, amenities, pool, hot tub, 24-7 coffee and good breakfast too. The only drawback was a mild chemical odor that permeated the room. Otherwise, an excellent value for the amount paid.

The hotel does not seem up to the standard of clean, fresh and updated that we have come to expect from AmericInn. Seemed like a nice waterpark inside to take kids, but the rest of the facility seems a little run down and though sheets were cleaned- the room seemed dusty and hadn't been vacuumed, towels were clean but very worn- and oddly, there is no place to hang them up in the bathrooms. It is also sprawling hotel- a little tricky to get around. Staff were kind though and breakfast was good enough.
