The rooms and location were great. It was within walking distance of the southernmost point and many shops and restaurants. We had made a reservation for 5 people (2 adults and 3 teenage kids) The room only had 2 beds so one of the kids was left to sleep on the floor. We did call the office to try and work it out but they wanted to charge me an additional $23 to bring a roll-a-away in. They would have had a perfect rating but wanting to charge more after booking was not acceptable.

The place was in a good area, there’s a place to rent bikes right beside it. Although the beaches near are smaller (we were a aware of this coming in but in case someone is unaware) we had some gnat looking bugs in the shower, the water is either way too hot or freezing cold- there’s no way to get it the perfect temperature, we didn’t have anyone come clean our room or bring us towels for two days and when they did finally realize we received our towels as we were changing for dinner at 6:45Pm just dropped off at our door. It was also odd to us that the key they gave us opened the gate and our room- which to us signaled that if the key could open both then it must also open every room on the property which made us feel like anyone could break into our room when we were gone. It was a good place for a couple of days but could use a little rethinking/fixing on a couple of things.

Hello, We do thank you for staying with us and regret your disappointment with the extra bed charge. We do allow reservations to have 5 persons although the room only comes with two queen beds. The $20 per night charge is common for extra beds. Again I am sorry this was an issue for you.

Thank you for staying with us. I can assure you the room keys do not open rooms other than your own. All room keys do open the front gate but that is by design. I will see why the water was not controlled properly, sounds like a valve issue but we will address this. I will also look into the gnats and see if this is something Orkin needs to address. Take care and thank you again.
