Checking in was a nightmare - the room was unmarked so could not be identified. The front desk then routed me to a different room and programmed my keys to a room that was already occupied. After 4 trips to the front desk, the manager Michele Torres then escorted me to the correct room -- no apology, just a terse "thank you" for bringing the unmarked room to her attention.

The property was tired and in poor condition

Our bathroom door caught on the floor and would not open all the way. The door to the room did the same thing. That seems like simple maintenance. A drawer in the dresser would come open and not stay shut.

The Legends seems to be going downhill. We had to change rooms once due to our blinds not working and our bed having a huge hole in it. The first floor was rank with the nasty smell of marijuana. I will not stay here nor in the Legends again. If you are not from the KC Area, I recommed staying in Overland Park even though its a little farther out.

Convenient to interstates, fast check-in, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, clean room....everything is what I expect from Holiday Inn

very nice staff. Clean place. Reserved king bed, but had to settle for two queens when elevator to upper floor broke. Not sure correlation, but it was fine.

Excellent stay I would highly recommend to anyone in the area

We got this hotel only because of the indoor pool. When we got there, it was closed because the staff said no one had treated it. I felt robbed and the kids were disappointed. What a waste!!!

The hotel was very close to the mall to make shopping so much easier!

The guys in the next room could heard him say God damn all night long. Hard to sleep. Walls not very sound proof.

Breakfast had good variety and location close to shops

First time staying in a hotel in over 10yrs. They had bed bugs. I got bit all to hell.

It was a normal hotel stay. The room was clean and the service was good

Very close to the Schlitterbahn, very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly. Pricey but worth it.

The hotel is conveniently located easy to get around. Very clean. Could not believe how clean. Breakfast was included and was very very good. Will stay here again.

The hotel is ok. Being an IT Admin I needed the internet to be decent and its not. I stayed there twice and it was to slow each time. It kept kicking me out of my work.

Although the stay was short, it was a comfortable stay for my business trip.

BEST AREA & GREAT HOTEL. DON'T EVEN NEED A RENTAL CAR. JUST TAKE THE SHUTTLE FROM AIRPORT & EVERYTHING YOU WANT IS IN WALKING DISTANCE.

wanted a hotel near the outlet mall and it's definitely an ideal location. staff was very nice, rooms clean; nothing too fancy just very basic but comfortable; was a little more than i would pay but location was ideal for what i needed it for
