America's Best Value Inn Kadoka claimed my reservation was for the prior night. When I showed them the accurate reservation they indicated "Expedia messes up all the time" then put me across the street in their inferior Budget motel since they had no vacancy in the "America's Best" Inn.

Good Price, Friendly Staff, everything was fine except everything was unplugged and A/C was off. It was an oversight however possibly due to the strains of a pandemic.

It is a great hotel in the middle of nowhere, so it was delightfully unexpected, but so appreciated. The staff was very friendly and the room was very good.

I had a wonderful experience with America’s Best Value Inn Kadoka. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Although the phone has no wire so its useless, the clock is not working too. But Tammy, the general manager was very accommodating, she made my stay very convenient.

Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. Wish they would wash bed cover and clean the rugs... it just felt a little unclean.

This is a very nice property located about 20 miles from the east entrance to Badlands National park. It is owned and ran by a husband and wife team who are extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. The breakfast offered isn't as nice as some larger chain hotels, but still has plenty to offer for everyone. *Due take note - Kadoka, SD is a VERY small town with limited services. It is 70 miles in either direction on I-90 to a WalMart. So, be sure you pack all the necessary toiletries, etc., if you choose to stay there for a few days while sightseeing at the Badlands. If you go to Mt. Rushmore or Devil's Tower, you will pass through Sturgis and Rapid City, which are more populated and have larger stores.

Clean, modern rooms and very helpful staff. Biscuits and gravy and good coffee make a good start to the day. Highly recommended.

Room was dirty. The staff was very friendly We only stayed one night

Staff was very helpful and polite. Extremely busy and noisy. So if u looking for something quite then this place is not for u. Price was affordable for our quick stay. Did not stay for breakfast.

This motel didn't have a hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker, but it didn't claim to, just letting people know. Bed was comfortable. The wi-fi had a weak signal, but there was another hotel nearby that had an open network which had a strong signal, so we just used that. Staff was very friendly. The motel was located close to the free way, this was nice.

Well, we were going on a Black Hills vacation, coming in from the West on I-90, and wanted to see the badlands, so we picked the closest hotel to the badlands along Interstate 90.The hotel was the nicest in town (which isn't saying much at ALL). The town was very small, only one gas station, 2 roadside hotels, and a run down resturant. We checked in and had one of the rudest, most incompetent desk clerks I've ever encountered. He was like Norman Bates, only creepier. I'm not sure if he was trying to be funny, but everything he said was discomforting. [...]The room itself wasn't bad - nothing to brag about either, but it had good AC, and decent beds. They advertised HBO, but HBO was scrambled, and the tv only picked up about 5 stations clearly - the rest were fuzzy at best. The bathroom wasn't bad at all.The next morning, we went downstairs for the "continental breakfast" to find only 4 tables, all of which were being used, and a sign on the door that said "no food or drink is to leave the breakfast area". So we stood there, waiting for a table to open up. The breakfast was pretty sparce too - only some fresh fruit, cereal, Sunny D, coffee, bread, jelly and day old bagels.Bottom line, if you MUST stay in Kadoka, you're probably better off here than across the road, but I'd suggest pushing on to Wall, or staying in Chamberlain instead.Bottom line, this room was NOT worth what I paid for it.

Beds are not high quality and I think their rates are higher than they should be for the quality you get.

We're terribly sorry to hear about your recent experience. It saddens us that you weren't able to enjoy a stay with us. If you are ever back in the area, we encourage you to give us another chance so we can show you the high-quality accommodations that we're known for. As mentioned, sometimes when booking through third-party sites, reservations do not sync up properly, which can lead to these kinds of issues. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you safe travels.

Thank you for your kind words, Pam - it was a pleasure to serve you & we hope to see you again soon! It is appreciated that you bring to our attention your land line phone had no cord so we can be sure to get on in there and also that your clock wasn't working.
