Love this location near train and the river for a lovely walk or coffee time in the afternoon. A great quiet getaway with a scenic city view. Hyatt house's customer service is just hit and miss. Check in in the evening on Saturday surprisingly was cordial and a breeze, very hospitable. My keys weren't working after I extended by stay and that was confusing so had to get them reset again. Check out was informal, when asked if concierge or hotel lobby staff could hold our belongings when going out for coffee, the staff wasn't very amenable and did so reluctantly. The location is gorgeous with rooftop and with city views. Though, heavily attended events unmasked and packed in people during nightlife feels stressful & like covid hotbeds. The room was excellent and late check out is lovely -- very clean and neat, spacious with a chaise lounge and great king bed and linens. Breakfast is free but packaged pastries and box cereal with some oranges, nothing very curated for the rate you're paying. Overall solid 3.5 stars. The customer service needs consistency but the rooms are stellar clean, open, comfortable. Note: If you're looking for a bathtub ask in advance as we only had a shower.

The location of the property allows for great access to the river and views (if you're lucky) but parking is a beast. Once we finally found the entrance it was good but try to have someone with you to off load suitcases BEFORE you park. It's a hike. Definitely a party hotel, so if you're looking for peace and quiet this is NOT it. We had loud music playing next to us well into the night and back on early morning (thankfully it was good music). Checking in was a mess as rooms were not yet available at almost 6pm. The staff was gracious and offered beverages and holding for luggage but it did throw a wrinkle in plans if you needed to get ready.

Pros - My room was perfect, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and modern which is a big plus. Con- one of the guest were having a party in their room and I literally got no sleep because of the noise in the hallway, from 1am to 4am there was nothing but people walking back and forth in the hall marking a ton of noise? The mask situation at the roof top bar is a bit much. If you stand up to take a picture literally right after the camera snaps you have to put your mask back on, if not the security guard will literally hound you down to put it on. I understand the hotel taking special precautions to keep their guess safe but the security guard was driving everyone crazy. If you sat inside of the rooftop you were able to take your mask off but if you sat outside you had to put your mask on, I didn't get it. Overall, I will definitely return once the world gets back to normal so I can actually enjoy the rooftop bar.

The location & ease to getting into NYC from the hotel was great! The hotel & its amenities were above & beyond expected. The staff deserves an A++++!!

Fantastic location - close to everything with the best views of manhattan. All amenities nearby, great restaurants. Wonderful staff and quick to bring anything needed!

The concert was canceled. I prepaid for my room with money from my Mothers life insurance policy and could not get a voucher or refund. Please do not contact me again. Thank you.
