Hotel was nice and the pool was freezing.

Reserved queen double no smoking. Even supplied estimated arrival time and provided print out of reservation upon arrival. Clerk kept “studying” computer several minutes and finally gave me one key and said double smoking. So had to correct that. Another 10minutes and she gave me a key and sent me to room on floor 5 where maids busy cleaning all rooms. Opened door and found king. Back Dow and found another clerk on duty. He seemed bothered, never apologized and after another wait and blaming it on orbitz. Sent me back to 5th floor. Finally correct room. Not welcoming staff at all.

Some of the service was amazing some was terrible had a 2 year old and a 1 year old and was told would have to not allow the children to make any noise and the room I choose online was not the room I recived it’s ok lesson learned Home 2 is way better for the price

Close to everything we needed and had a pretty good breakfast every morning. Beds and pillows were comfortable!

The biggest problem was my husband killed a bed bug on one of the beds. He didn't tell me until we'd left the hotel because he didn't want to upset me. I'd suggest they do a serious check on the mattresses, box springs and linens in Room 513.

I would love to rate this experience however when we arrived to check in late after having previously called and specified our very late arrival time due to traveling with 2 young children for 10hrs we were met by an empty reception desk and locked doors. After several phone attempts, knocking and attempting to reach someone to let us in so we could check in to our room we ended up leaving to go next door to Home2Suites. Their manager tried to contact someone st Hampton and could not get anyone to answer the phone either. After having driven 10hrs and arriving with 2 very small children this was a nightmare beginning to our holiday and vacation. Thankfully the Home2Suites was gracious and accommodating and got us a room right away. The only reason this review on staff isn’t “terrible” is because upon returning to the Hampton to complain they came up with a solution so that we did not incur any additional expenses.

No first time but always the same never had a bad time

This hotel is relatively new, in good condition, and in a great location. The only down side seems to be some room service staff with little experience and a tenuous grasp on the English language. Our room was missing an ironing board. A call to the front desk resulted in assurances that someone would bring one to our room. A woman appears at our door with no ironing board, looking confused. Finally I ask if she's there to deliver the missing ironing board. She seems unable to believe there is none. I invite her to look for herself. She looks in the closet and notices the ironing board gone, but seems to also notice no iron. She leaves and comes back with only an iron. I say, no, I have the iron plugged in and warming up. I need the board. She goes back in my room, sees the iron and even goes up to the iron and places her hand next to it to see if it's working. Yes, the iron is fine. I need an ironing board, I say for what must have been the fifth time. I hear her opening rooms around me and she finally appears with an ironing board. I'm finally able to iron in full confidence that someone in one of the adjacent rooms will be calling room service for their missing ironing board.

I stay at tis HI several times a year. Always clean and staff always accommodating.

I had a quick business trip down to Jackson and arrived the night before my morning meeting. The night staff was friendly and helpful in getting me necessary supplies to complete my handouts. They were additionally helpful in finding me transportation to the meeting which was 90 miles south.! i would definitely recommend this hotel because of not only the staff, but the clean, comfortable room as well.

I stayed here primarily because of the price, but came back for the location, great staff, and ease of check in and check out. Their breakfast isn't bad either. Great beds by the way!
