Due to corona no pool but that is not the hotels fault

Check in took 40 minutes. The evening clerk had issues checking in the person in front of me and then claimed the credit card given to her by Orbitz was declined. She called her manager at home as no one was there to help her and finally just gave up, gave me a key and said the morning shift could figure it out. The next day I met the manager who took another 30 minutes to check me in as she had no idea I was even on property. The person she checked in ahead of me had to come back to the front desk as he was given a room that was already occupied. After taking a $320 deposit?!?! I was checked into my room again. The bedding smelled like pee, the microwave door was broken, the thermostat on the wall is not connected to the AC and the shower did not drain. The only reason people stay here is there is no other option in Hillsdale.

Our room looked like it was recently renovated . New shower, carpets, walls painted. It was very centrally located for where we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast Bathroom was full of hair: on floor & shower

Nice room, shower area was a little bit awkward with the curtain not shutting to keep water from spraying out onto the floor, staff was excellent

Not the worst place I've stayed. The bed was of good quality. Better towels would go a long ways towards making the hotel a decent place to stay. They are extremely hard and scratchy. The 3d floor hall smelled bad. Other than that, the place is ok.

The hotel decor is old and somewhat grimy, but in general it is clean.

The rooms smelled smoke, were not clean, need renovation.

It wasn't horrible. Housekeeping was sketchy and getting towels was a bit of challenge. The hot tub did not heat the last two nights we were there, and they didn't seem to concerned about fixing it. People were also smoking in the hallways - and smoking in a hotel is illegal in Michigan. Other than that, it was a clean place to sleep and the price wasn't unreasonable. This was my third Days Inn stay, and this was consistent with the other Days Inn experiences I've had. I let the first two go assuming they were isolated experiences. Probably won't stay in another Days Inn again.

This hotel is older and the non smoking rooms still smell a bit like smoke. My friend forgot her toothbrush and the front desk did not have any for her. The room was clean and the shower water was hot. The refrigerator was open when we arrived in the room, so the room smelled musty as well.

I left my charging cord for my TOM TOM at the motel. Will call in the AM about the cord

We spent the nite to get a head start on the US 12 garage sales that were going on over the weekend and we also attended a small auction in the neighboring town so the location was perfect. The staff was AWESOME & the room was spotless! The only complaint would be the small breakfast area although the breakfast itself was yummy! Would definately stay here again & recommend to my friends.

This is a perfectly decent hotel. Staff is friendly. There are no fluffy towel, but it is not expensive either.

Very clean and quite. Only problem was always a shortage of towles and washcloths but got thema t the front desk.

Very close to Hillsdale College. Nice breakfast bar. Be sure to use the PAM on the waffle machine!!

Our room was by the stairs so we heard every person who was talking in the hall and the doors slamming. The room was dingy and dark. The staff was friendly though.

I was visiting to attend events at MIS. This was a great location since the driving distance to the track only took about 30 minutes.

Fun pool, comfortable room

The Days Inn Hillsdale is the only hotel in the area and therefore is attuned to events at the Hillsdale College. They are very friendly and accomodating. The rooms and pool area were clean and comfortable.
