If you like activity(water rafting and horse back), then it is good place to stay. My friends and I just sightseeing and we love to drink hot water in the cold days. But there is no coffee maker in the rooms, to make a tea or coffee, you have to go the the nearby cafe and the water there was not hot. Inconvenient with the price we paid.

This was a lovely guest ranch with terrific views. We stayed in the cabin/room. It was stylishly rustic and clean. The horses and wranglers were personable and knowledgeable. "Kudos" to Denver who did a fantastic job of helping a sick trail rider while ensuring everyone else had a great ride. Our only two do differently suggestions: courtesy coffee pot in room and fly strips in the dinning area. We know its a horse ranch and it comes with flies, but a little proactive control would be good. Overall, a great stay, lovely venue and historical buildings. Well behaved horses and beautiful rides in the hills and down the river. It was a highlight of our trip.

The ranch is in a great setting and does have dining available which is great as you are far away from other options. The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness of the attached cabin we stayed in as well as the fact that the walls between the adjoining unit were so paper thin we could hear every conversation (even down to a whisper) and had to tell our neighbors to be quiet so we could sleep (it wasn't the neighbor's fault). They were very gracious and kept it as quiet as could be but I was amazed there is literally zero sound dampening. If you get a cabin and want a little quiet, make sure to get a stand-alone cabin.

For the amount of money we paid, a cup of coffee would have been nice. Our room was clean but stuffy with not A/C and everything was dusty. But it is a ranch and I guess that comes with the territory.

Dirty…the location was beautiful but the rooms were not clean. It almost appeared they didn’t not even vacuum the rug or sweep. There was hair in the shower from previous guests. And pills/medication around/under the bed which was not ideal considering I had a dog. Not impressed in cleanliness for a 300$ a night room.

Had horseback riding and others tours from the location.

Best beds ever in rental- Temperpedic Cafe prices was high food was decent but coffee was not. Friendly horse oriented.

We arrived around 6pm. The room was super dusty, had flies, and my wife has allergies. There are absolutely no amenities like TV and the restaurant is only open from 7pm to 8pm. If you like burgers I guess it’s ok. Beds are hard as rock and pillows are thin. Next morning I complained and asked to cancel my second night and they wouldn’t cause they stated they would put me up in another room. After seeing how dirty my room was I said no thanks. I would have left the first night but the place is so secluded it wasn’t safe to drive at night.

The man at the front desk was very nice and helped during check in. We stayed in Lodge 1. Some things were nice and others were not. The service at the restaurant was horrible and the food was just ok. However it is in a very nice location. No fridge, microwave, coffee machine, nothing in the room aside from two beds. The curtains kept falling off the windows. The beds were just ok and not very comfortable.

The mountain view of lodge #5 is breath taking with a nice private deck. The room is very clean, cozy and nice. The furniture are very unique. We enjoined our stay.

It's a ranch, so you'll feel nature's smell around, especially at night but only outside, not in the room. There was no tv in our unit and the walls were pretty thin despite looking sturdy, we could totally hear the people next door. Getting hot water out of the shower was a whole process, we thought it didn't work since the faucet was loose and turned a lot but no water came out, we kept trying for a good while until finally, we made it work. Not a pleasant thing to do after an exhausting day hiking in the mountains. There is no 24 hr front desk, so if you need anything after 8 pm, you're basically on your own. The ranch provided an e-mail, but not a phone number to reach out to them. We couldn't find any vending machines or similar either. If you want your room to be cleaned daily, you have to request it personally, otherwise, they don't come in. The beds were comfortable and seemed clean. The room temperature was good, we didn't feel cold at all despite the fact that it can get as low as 35 F at night during the summer. Location is good to access the park from the east. Breakfast is not included and their restaurant was always super crowded with wait times of over an hour in the morning, we had to eat somewhere else the 2 days we spent there. If I ever come back to the area, I'll likely pick a different place to stay.

Location and the view . The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Entry to the room is not maintained or cleaned lot of dust and dirt. Inside rooms are relatively clean, as you walk in or open the door all the dust will come in. No fan or air conditioner in the rooms. Rooms are not sound proof, unable to sleep due to sound of people walking in the rooms or corridors above your room and talking in the next room.

My rental car was hit in the parking lot which is rustic and now I have to pay top $ for the stay

This hotel is all about the horses. They have a great setup for riding and trail rides. The horse wrangler was great. The front desk staff was ok. They initially put us in a smaller room than we had paid for. We confronted them as we had the family with us and would not be able to sleep in the smaller room. They gave us a rental log cabin two bedroom house. The house was in the midst of repair. There was no kitchen area and the only sink was in the bathroom. There were no TV's, DVD's, or books to read. There were numerous little projects started in the house but not finished. The insulation in the wall was exposed were they were adding a built in shelf. The small fridge was dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable. The electrical junction box on the side of the house was broken and there was a bullet hole in the front window pane. There are no microwaves and any electrical appliances are not allowed so you have to bring cold food or eat in the cafe. The buffalo cafe was an odd mix of asia meets the old west, we ordered a burger. It was large and juicy but raw and cold in the middle. They did fix this and send extra fries to compensate. There was a tv on with foreign asian music videos playing. It was cramped and did not feel like a place that you could relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The waitress was on her phone most of the time. This place could use a good deep cleaning as well. Our table was not clean when we sat down.

This dude ranch offers many activities like horse back riding, river floating, group hikes, fishing, hunting. You should make use of that instead of just using it for overnight stay. The rooms/cabins are decent and clean. Hotel is close to national parks - Yellowstone and Teton so makes it a good choice. Hotel staff, management and owners are genuinely interested to making your stay enjoyable. I had an issue with room amenities but long story short they followed through even after i checked out and corrected it. You should also compare the prices by calling the ranch first before making reservation through third party. Take your bug spray with you for outdoors around the ranch as there are mosquitoes - not inside the room though. Overall it is a great choice if you want to get a real fill of national park, proximity, and whole bunch of activities.

We were promised by the check-in staff a room with terrific view, however, room promised was still occupied when we entered. We ended up with a room without a view, shower without a curtain, main window with a temporary pin-on see-through curtain.

They want to earn your money only, but not serving you. The worst room and service ever. Don't book this one. Try one more expensive or one outside the national park.

We enjoyed staying at an authentic working ranch. The views were beautiful! The staff was very friendly and helpful.
