I had a very good experience with this hotel. From check in to checkout the staff were really good people to deal with. I even left a hat and called 5 days later and they had set it aside. They shipped it to me without any hassle. I'm a big fan of the Marriott family and this stay at the Spring Hill suites confirmed my fandom.

Booked a room which accommodates 6. We were a party of 4. 3 towels were stocked each day. Request for 4 each day never fulfilled without stopping at the desk. Ran out of toilet paper (apparently checking the roll is not on the daily housekeeping list). Rooms lack details: only 2 wall hooks for 4 towels. So much for water-conservation in California. Suggestion: housekeeping charts should indicate the # of guests in a room. This will save calls and work for front desk and extra trips for housekeeping. Add shelving and hooks in shower room and toilet room to accommodate 6 people. Staff front desk better until solutions are implemented to reduce the extra requests created by the lack of planning and service by housekeeping. My suggestion: have 6 people (or even 4!) spend 2 nights in a room and log the inconveniences. Perhaps comp customers periodically to give detailed info about the short-comings of design and service. I am going back to Hyatt!

The bathroom door and shower door did not have locks

Accessibility. The ADA / wheel chair accessible rooms however should have a choice of one king bed or two full / queen beds.

Very loud because of proximity to airport. The actual room was very nice.

Two complaints. 12 dollar parking fee each night for a none resort area. No waffles during a no weekend stay. Other than that the breakfast selections were great .

Walked up to front desk with suitcase int tow to check in and was stared at by Peter, after his awkward behavior he finally said “Can I help you?” I said “Yes I’d like to check in” He said “Come up here close and we’ll get started” When he said there was a $12 charge to park my car in their parking lot, I said that would have been nice to know ahead of time to which he responded it’s been that way years and if I would have read I would have known that. Shared it wasn’t listed on either site I looked at, he wanted to argue. Finally arrived in room to find it not clean - see pictures. WiFi not working either.

Had few issues in the room, example: When I booked the room I put 5 adults but staying there at 4 nights and repeatedly telling the front desk to send 5 towels, 5 shampoo, 5 lotions, 5 bath soaps each day we never got it, I personally went 3 times at the front desk to get the items. Note: Front desk is really friendly. Issue two: Our bathroom did not close completely as it is sliding and there is no lock inside, we had to hold it manually. Note: I did not bother to notify front desk. Issue three: Parking is NOT free, I found out while checking in its $12 per night Very interesting: No Trash bags in the waste basket

I was thrilled to be so close to great shopping, dining, and entertainment at South Coast Plaza mall and the surrounding shopping. The hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport, which was an added bonus. Top-notch breakfast was served hot and delicious every day. I would definitely stay here again!

Really nice hotel...breakfast choices were good and had lots of room to sit in lobby. However, wish there was as much room by the pool area(only one table oustide)
