Everything from Icelandair check-in to baggage claim is a breeze. The general rule for check-in is to arrive at the airport two hours ahead of departure for domestic flights, and three hours prior for international flights. Drop your checked bags at the Icelandair baggage desk at least an hour before you’re scheduled to take off. You’ll be on your Icelandair flight in no time.
FI is the Carrier Code for Icelandair. This two-character code is sometimes referred to as the airline identification code, which is assigned by the International Air Transport Association. It's used to standardize and simplify, tariffs, tickets, telecommunications, and more.
Login to your Orbitz travel Itinerary to view your flight information by clicking on My Trips. You will find a code consisting of one to two letters and a single digit which represents Icelandair. This will be followed by one, two, three, or four digits representing your flight number.

Great selection of Icelandic gin.
one complaint - all four legs of my Icelandair flights the cabin was rather cold - I dressed for that the last 3 - the first leg was a problem
no meals service from Seattle to Keflavik :(
Longer flights should always include food!! Also, elevator-only exit in Toronto right from flight was horrible. Escalator was being worked on, and no stairs were available.
Friendly and efficient flight crew. Thx!
The only negative was that my window seat had no window.
Flight attendants were awesome
The staff on the plane is always very friendly and helpful
being able to understand onboard announcements was difficult - volume low - so we did not catch that we had to claim our luggage before connecting to DTW from BOS
I love Iceland Air not because it is the most modern. airline, but because of the high degree of professionalism and service. A smile goes a long way on trans atlantic flights - and other airlines don't come with that. The friendliness of the staff alone has made your airline my first choice over any American airline I might otherwise choose. Never lose your spirit! Sincerely - Jaded American Traveler
