Motel room was ok. Staff claimed they were upgrading the property.

Staff was great. Currently undergoing remodel, but things aren't dirty. Pool was great.

Staff extremely polite and helpful

The best thing I can say about this hotel is the front desk staff was not rude. They weren’t exactly great either, though. Check in was exactly that. She checked me in and was nice enough. But there was no explanation about breakfast, or any other “amenities” or changes due to “COVID”. Even though all state mandates are no longer in effect, they still have signs up on the front door “requiring masks”. The whole hotel needs remodeling-there are holes and cracks in the walls, some stuff has been half painted, it’s just generally dirty! In the room-it literally looked like the housekeeping staff (hopefully) changed the sheets and towels, and vacuumed. The bathroom sink and counter was dirty, the faucet in the tub was dirty, as well as the towel rack and mirror. The mirror on the wall in the room had fingerprints all over it as well. The microwave had food residue on the turntable plate and all around the inside of the microwave. The lamp looked like it had not been dusted in ages. They also don’t have full size pillows on the bed. There were 3 throw pillow size pillows on each bed. When we went down for breakfast, we had to go all the way to the front desk before we saw any information about how to go about breakfast. They had pre-packaged breakfast options-which were ok-just no info about it! Upon checkout, I assumed they would ask, as most people do, how everything was and I was ready to tell them a few issues…but he didn’t ask, so here’s your review!!

Great staff. Last week, room good. This week room 330, not good. Filthy windows, bathroom door jam mangled, bath doorknob compromised, couldn't get hair dryer to workto work

Due to COVID, the breakfast was a brown bag with a bottle of water, muffin and a fruit cup. I understand. But a coffee pot would ne nice. Staff friendly, accommodating, responsive and sniling

The trash had not been taken out when I checked in. The A/C was in so high it was freezing in the room. I turned it down and the room spelled like wet carpet and very musty. The shower had no barrier so the water ran all over the floor so I had to use all my towels to dry it up. The doors and walls have been kicked and scuffed and make the hotel look run down. The pool was great and the breakfast was on par with other Wyndham Hotels. I will not return to this hotel.

My room was dirty. A fast food bag was left on the floor in the corner of the first room we checked into. Beds were made but sheets were dirty. One bed had what appeared to be shoe prints and hair, the other had sand all in the bed. We asked to be moved to another room. The next room, although old and worn out was clean enough to sleep. After seeing this hotel's standard for 'clean' we certainly did not have breakfast there the next morning and hightailed it down to a nearby restaurant.

This is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it and will be happy to get to stay here again when in Decatur. My room was cleaned each day, bed made and clean towels brought by housecleaning. The bed was very comfortable. The mini fridge and microwave were very convenient as were the couch and work desk. Breakfast each morning was great too. Waffles, eggs, sausage, juices, fruit and cereals was a very nice way to start the day. All the employees I met were helpful and friendly. I think it would be good to clean the hallway carpets. Also it was great to have multiple places to eat, next door on two sides, and near by. The location was also only 12 minutes from Point Mallard.

Super cute from the outside, the inside looks pretty old and dated though. For a relatively new property, I was surprised the inside looked as old as it did.

Ridiculously expensive to stay in this run-down, unclean motel. I will never stay here again!

Enjoyed it the room was clean a comfortable. Will recommend to friends Tvs could be larger

I stayed here for a great rate. The hotel in convenient to restaurants that are within walking distance. There is a 24 hour Walgreens next door. But the decor is dated- particularly the outside. Clean, decent breakfast, and god service.

Huge felt like comfort quiet for being full you'd never know it was very peaceful I will stay again it was close to everything you might want and the mall is across from it

Staff was very responsive and friendly. Rooms are a bit dated but updates are in process like the pending computer area and fitness room. Breakfasts were very good and food quantities were monitored continually. Central location made travels easy with plenty of safe parking. The sign on Danville is hard to see until you are upon it. Definitely will stay again.

Have stayed here twice, and will do so again! Clean rooms, friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Had been to this location when under comfort inn many times. But .... This stay was baymont name. The pillows on the king size bed were entirely too soft. And the drapes in the room didn't close. They were designed to have sheers in the middle and drapes only on the sides. The sunshine woke us up which on this trip was not what we needed considering we needed to drive 7 hours home. The tiles on the floor in bathroom doorway were loose from grout missing. However ...... The breakfast downstairs was outstanding. The amenities in our room were perfect. And thank you for having a quality shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. Salon quality at that. I think if the pillows and drapes were attended to and the grout repaired this room would have five stars.

The bad: Bathroom could have been cleaner. Dirt under vanity. Remodeling work on bath/shower was shoddy. Showed gaps around faucet on tub. Morning staff was not knowledgeable about the area. The good: Evening buffet was a pleasant surprise. Morning staff made extra effort to provide requested information - marginally helpful.
