I noticed numerous hairs entwined in the face cloth I was about to use. The toilet seat had an approximate 4" x 3" patch of dark mildew on it, it was disgusting! The restaurant next door appears to have been closed for some time and was rundown and overgrown. I was woken up by a very loud argument on Monday night about 0245 hours, which appeared to turn physical across the hall from my room. After several minutes, it was obvious it had become physical and I called 911 to report the domestic violence. The couple had left by time police arrived - I was not able to go back to bed that night. I am from another state, but when I explained my circumstances to people I had business with in Houston, I was advised the 'Greenpoint' area this Hyatt was in was often called 'Gunpoint.'

Upon checkin (which took 30min because the only staff member on duty was new and didnt really know what he was doing), we had an issue with the pet policy and asked for a manager. We were told she would be in first thing in the morning and that he couldnt help us, she was the only one who could. We get to the room. ITS FILTHY. I leave it at that. NOT AT ALL WHAT I AM USED TO WITH A HYATT PLACE HOTEL. Next morning, the hot breakfast he mentioned to us was fruit, cereal, muffins and oatmeal in a cup (I guess that would have been hot once the water was added). Also, the young lady at the front desk the next morning was NOT the manager. She blatantly said "hes new and probably just didnt feel like dealing with it". Just, wow. And of course, she couldnt help either. IVE NEVER STAYED AT SUCH A SUBPAR HOTEL. Facility, Staff, Surrounding area - All abysmal.

The pool was closed. I asked about staying another night and the young man acted like I bothered him and just told me to do it online. It looked like a hotel locals stayed at. The shower was dirty.

Todo perfecto

It was good!

Stay was great and quiet.

Getting to the location and using a driving directions lead me to the back of the property and the gate was blocked no appropriate signage directing drivers to the correct location. Once I checked in there was an additional charge to be paid up front to clean. The room for a 60 year old couple I thought the staff would take our age in consideration we were not there to party but to attend a funeral. I guess that’s the way business is run in the age in time. With the pandemic seems like everyone is really trying to find a way to take advantage of you. You ask for this public review and this is what I experienced. Remarks:

Nice place to stay close to the airport, clean and safe.

Some damage in rooms bathroom. Gated entrance was half open the whole time.

Room smelled like smoke even though it said it was a no smoking room.

The property was clean it it just old and could use a ton of updating to keep up with hotels in the area.

close to airport good breakfast spacious room bathroom very small comfortable beds

Poor service they make you pic everything up at the front desk

The staff was rude & the shower was dirty. We brought our dogs and was told their was no fee but then all of a sudden got a call later on that they needed me to come down from my room and pay a non-refundable $75 fee

The facility was convenient to North Houston and the IAH Airport. The overall condition was great, the room clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff accommodating. The neighborhood close by is not conducive to going out in the evening, but for business travelers, it is a great bed and out place.

Friendly staff, but Bed was really uncomfortable. : /

Nice place. No free breakfast unless you join rewards system. 24 hour food available. And there's beer!

We stayed here twice on two occasions in one week. One bathroom was not as clean as the second one.
