I always stay here

Overall the hotel and staff were great. We checked in on a Thursday afternoon and were not informed that there would be no turndown service for the remainder of our stay. We called down on Friday night requesting it and were told someone would be by on Saturday, but no one came. We tried to call down Saturday for a wake up call (2 separate times) and no one answered. We were traveling with 2 children, so you can imagine the need for room cleaning, restocking, etc. The pool was green and not enticing to swim in.

They were not too clean

Even though their website says they'll take you "within 3 miles of the hotel", they would not. I flew in and was counting on their shuttle to take me to my class all week. They blamed it on COVID - even though other area hotels were shuttling their guests around. Had to walk 1.5 miles in the rain on Sunday morning to make it to my appointment. I was completely soaked. Then when I asked another day, the staff they "couldn't find the keys to the shuttle" that sat out front the entire week I stayed there. Ended up walking the 25mins each way to my class. Would have taken 5 minutes to shuttle me across the interstate, but everyone was just unwilling. Feel like I was lied to when I convinced them I'd wear a mask & it would just be me in the shuttle when they said they "couldn't find the keys." No sympathy or any attempt to help from the staff. Overall unfriendly & will never stay here again. I'd advise anyone reading this to stay at the Embassy Suites just down the street.

Only reason I didn’t give the room a “terrible face” is because its located technically out of the city’s hustle and bustle and also physically appealing. Clean?? They only clean every 3 days. We put some seafood we were tired of eating outside of our room and it sat for 3 days. (Did it as a test) Each time I ate leftovers downstairs I threw my trash in the same exact trash can. Same trash from Friday was in it. Today is Monday. The room was fine when we got here, and so was the rest of the area. Im assuming they cleaned that Friday and only planned to clean again Monday afternoon. The biggest problem is THIS IS ALL DURING A PANDEMIC...

I always stay here when I come to Houston. I wish they had free coffee in the lobby. There’s Starbucks coffee at the lobby bar but it’s not complimentary.

Clean quiet rooms. Nice bar and food with friendly wait staff.

Room was clean and comfortable but there was LOUD freeway noise! Checkin clerk was not very helpful. No luggage cart was seen in the area and he did not offer to find us one. Ordered the continental breakfast from room service and only received orange juice and coffee - no pastries. Not up to the service we have enjoyed at other Marriott locations

Hotel room was cancelled before we could check in, without my approval.

Hotel was nice every thing was good staff was wonderful they made a mistake on my reservation but they were able to change it at no cost wonderful service

I was awakened by some on going loud noise from some guy doing work in the hallways in the hotel that caused me to check out earlier than I expected.

Staff was amazing. Check in was smooth and room service was great.

The hotel and room are of great quality, cleanliness, and comfort. However, much of that is taken back because of staff and/or policies of the hotel. They advertise and even comment on availability of wifi and breakfast to guest. They do not let you know these services are not complimentary and have a pretty high cost on them, although, they are of no better quality than most hotels at the same level that offer as complimentary. If told up front, it would be much better received even if not used. To suddenly hit a guest with cost unexpectedly while traveling is never good customer service.
