Great location as long as you get the right room. The rooms up against the gorge are stunning. You come for the view so get it

Beds are excellent - would recommend the room with kitchenette - Queen size room did not have a fridge.

Great view. Great service. Convenient location and easy to access. Great restaurants nearby.

Very beautiful hotel location with breathtaking views close to town I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to the gorge

We had a wonderful view room. Very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend.

Nice place with clean comfortable rooms. We took a larger King because we wanted to be away from the road and have a balcony with a water view. Beds are super comfortable.

Husband and I stayed 2 nights in a King Euro Suite. The room was very clean and comfortable with kitchenette. TV was a little small to be mounted in the far upper corner of the room, but hey we weren't there to watch TV! I didn't expect the location to be that great but it was-- right next door is the Columbia Gorge Hotel, where we walked around lovely flower gardens and had a great breakfast with stunning views.

We were upgraded to a very nice quiet suite because the wifi in our booked room had poor reception. The staff on the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was close to an interstate highway which was intrusive outside the room, but sound insulation in the room prevented it from being a problem.

The staff was very friendly and even escorted us to our room. The door opened to a very small room with no view. The only place to sit in the room was a desk chair and the very uncomfortable bed. The shower was very small although the towels were plush. We won't be returning here after waking up with a sore back.

The hotel was very stylish. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. There was an outside, comfortable viewing area of the Gorge and Columbia River. Great location, especially in nice weather. Minutes from downtown Hood River. They offered an upgrade for additional cost, but I would have liked enough time and tour to make that choice. I would have liked a view of the river and Gorge from our room. Had the upgrade provided "that" unobstructed view I probably would have accepted it.

I stayed at the Villas, Location is good, right next to the interstate, and right on the Cliffs into the Columbia River. However the view IS of the Interstate if you don´t choose the exact location of your Room or Villa so be cautious as this can happen to you. My Room had no telephone hand set I arrived in the evening so no one could help me with this, there is Free Wi-Fi however and Cable TV. Staff at the villas is reduced to a small lobby so don´t expect any other attention. You don´t need to pay the price of his location to enjoy the beauty of the Columbia River.

Bed is very comfortable and love that they have a Kerig coffee maker in the room. Would be nice to see a couch added to the hotel rooms since the chairs are not very cozy. About a 2 mile walk to the city center though.

Overall it was a cozy spacious room. I personally had a few gripes. The private balcony was a stretch, french doors which opened into the room with a 2ft metal out-cropping. It was nice but not what I invisioned. The shower was huge, but the hand held whould shoot me right in the face, it was mounted too high. The RR tracks are right below the cliff, didn't seem to hear them in the night though which was good. Positives: mini fridge in the bathroom so you could close door and not hear it run all night. Kuerig coffee maker, ihome, robes and all the towels smelled Downy fresh!

The staff was incredibly gracious and bumped us up to a more comfortable room because I had forgotten my daughters air mattress. The room was beautiful with great views of the river. Kitchen was a dream and the location was just outside the main part of Hood River. Only drawback was how close it was to the freeway, so if road noise bothers you bring earplugs.

The reception was nice and the villas are finished out as a top notch accommodations. I did upgrade to get a window view of the gorge and a room with a kitchen and more space. The price can be higher and some units go as high as $495/night overlooking the gorge with a full 2-3 bedroom suite with balcony. The base room has no view and is like a normal hotel room but is new and is very nice. Next door and accessible to the pretty landscaped grounds adjacent to the Columbia Gorge Classic Hotel that been there since the 30's. Depending on the price I would stay there again for sure. Right off the highway and a mile or so from downtown Hood River.

Very nice rooms with a nice view of the river (from some). The room smelled and looked brand new with very nice finishes. Office staff was friendly and accommodating.
