Beautiful view of mountain and bay. Rooms are clean and comfortable bed.

nice place but... -not able to eat at the restaurant because I had no reservation! Other hotels in Alaska offer dinner for guests of the hotel without reservations. The restaurant was empty but we were told that we need reservation. Other restaurants around closed at 8 PM, resort's restaurant was closing at 8:30 PM. We were told to go to Safeway store to buy something to eat! -in AM we were able to buy a bagel and cream cheese but no lox! The restaurant had no lox! I was expecting to be able to eat lox in a hotel in the middle of the water and with salmon fishing boats just around the corner! -otherwise the resort was fine except they had no hair shampoo

Excellent location

Helpful staff but this hotel is quite dated.

Location at the tip of the spit is nice. The heater was boiling me in my room and i was told there is no way to control. I had maintenance completely shut it off. My room was not cleaned nor towels refreshed during my stay. Building old, creaky and noisy.

Had a room with a spectacular view . The room was spotless and very comfortable. Definitely the nicest placce to stay in Homer

Nice

Beautiful plce at the end of the spit in Homer. Surrounded on three sides by water. rooms were very nice

The only thing the property has going for it is the location and view. The hotel needs updated, the rooms had an odd smell, only one small window opened, the deck was tiny, no a/c or fan, the chairs were uncomfortable, the vegetation outside was unkept. This is all considering what I paid at other hotels this month in Alaska.

Unique place,but old building

Land's End has one of the most beautiful views you can possibly get from a room. It's worth paying the extra money for the bay side. It was a little disappointing paying that much for a kind of dumpy place. It definitely needs some updating or they need to come down on the price. The hot tub was far from hot - it was lukewarm at best. I understand why they don't allow vehicle and boat parking when the hotel is full, but it was very inconvenient to not allow us to park with our boat when the hotel and parking lot were half empty. It would've been nice to make an exception when there were so many parking spots available.

Nice

Loved the view and hot tub. It was nice having the restaurant right at the hotel. Food was good and staff nice and helpful.

The hotel and rooms were very nice. The amenities and the view were beautiful. Because of Covid, there was no room service but the front desk was very accommodating. The front desk personnel were very nice. The restaurant was just ok. One burger was under cooked and had to be returned and one of our steaks was luke warm when we got it. We also had to pay extra for condiments. It also took awhile to get our food considering the place had only limited seating because of Covid. But we will still stay there if we return to see family because the hotel is covienient and the view is beautiful.

Customer service did not respond to my calls or text messages while we were staying at hotel until I escalated. No air conditioning. Fan not available for master bedroom on first night. Dated rooms. Save the money and visit a less expensive hotel in Homer.

Thank you Elena for your review and feedback. Unfortunately, do to labor shortages, we cannot accommodate all of our guests every single night. We hope you get another chance to visit us to see that when we are fully open, we are one of the premier places to dine in Homer.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We have not supplied Housekeeping Stayover service in over a year at first due to COVID and now due to labor shortages. We do our best to communicate these changes to our policies within your confirmation emails. We hope you get the chance to visit us in the future when things have returned to normal.
