Very good hotel for Hanksville. Clean and very nice people at check-in. Only problems were that it was loud and hot water issues. The loudness is due to the heating and the fact it is a motel, and people are starting their cars in front of your room starting before 6am. The hot water issue was simply temperature regulation. Plenty of hot water, but anytime someone in a nearby room would flush the toilet or use the sink, the water would fluctuate from scalding to freezing.

Office only opens between 3-10 pm. Out of this period, nobody picks the phone or reply email. Due to the bad weather, we decided to stay another night, but we can’t contact the staff. Housekeeper was nice. She said it’s ok to stay one more night and gave us a set of breakfast. The room looked clean. However I got a lot of bite after two night stays. Hanksville literally has nothing, except two gas stations and this motel.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and the few items offered for breakfast (left in the room by staff). It had a homey feeling. We were disappointed that the AC didn't actual cool the room, but just managed to keep it from being uncomfortably hot. Also, the shower dripped constantly and the wifi barely functioned (thankfully, we had cell reception anyway); this last could have been the fault of other users.

Initially we tried to make a reservation over the phone but got an answering machine and left a message. When no one called back, we booked through Orbitz. Our room was clean and on the end of the row of motel rooms. It was very warm when we arrived so we thought the heat was working well. It was more likely that it was because we were coming in from the cold. It turned out to be a very cold night when we were sleeping, even with the space heater and window heater on. My husband was looking forward to watching the football game but that channel had almost no sound. I called the front desk and got the answering machine again. So I walked down to the front office, in the freezing cold, and the clerk was there. I told her the problem and she said it was the problem from the TV station and all of the rooms in the motel were affect so there was nothing she could do. The stay did not live up to the previous reviews.

Great Place to stay when visiting the Henry Mouintains

Will never return which froze arses iff as heater did not work. Got aick because of it. Then het home and find an extra 30 charge on my card never explained never agreed to. Beware this place

this was an awesome hotel. we were in the middle of a vacation to visit Utah's national parks and the drive was long but beautiful. this was a nice respite in traveling. the bed was sooo comfortable. we really liked this facility. this was better than some chains we have stayed in.

There are not many choices in Hsnksville. The hotel has a good location. I was a little apprehensive when we first got there. The room was average and clean.

I have decided to help you out by telling you if you want a extremely clean, neat room with mini-frig and microwave and peace and quiet, then this location is for you. The front desk lady (Janette) was awesome and helpful. .I stayed in the MGM a couple night before AND honestly except for the mini-bar, larger bathroom and view and slightly larger room these two rooms would be equal in comfort and feel. I will stay there again because the bed comfort, cleanliness and hand quilted comforter. The TV was nice and up to date also.

Thank you for your review. Yes our office has limited hours as they are posted. Housekeeping can help guests with most things and they can reach management if needed.

Thank you for staying with us. I do apologize that your stay was not satisfactory. This is our down season and we do have shortened office hours. And I do apologize that the two heaters were not enough to warm the room. Also, we have contacted Dish Network several times about that particular channel and they still have not found a solution.
