Great place to stay inside park. Its not busy as the Bright Angle Lodge area so thats nice. Would definitely stay again.

The vending machine doesn’t work! All and all the stay is cool. Good for hiking and site seeing place.

Great place! We really enjoyed this stop! Highly recommend

Super clean lodge, we enjoyed how quiet it was and able to wake up to the grand canyon sunrise.

The Yavapai Lodge provided casual, simple, clean accommodations inside the park. It is in a convenient location to the market and cafe which are within walking distance. While convenient, it is simultaneously away from the bustle of trailhead traffic, nestled in the pines. Overall, a good economical lodging option to maximize your time in the canyon.

I booked three rooms for myself and my friends, but one of the rooms has no hot water. Can you imagine in the snowy winter without a hot water bath? So my friends went to the front desk to ask to change a room. But the new room can not access wifi. They were tired late-night so didn't bother to ask for another suite. Why cannot the rooms be checked before the travelers moving in?! What an uncomfortable experience.

Staff were friendly; as soon as it snowed they were out making it safe for guests. Rooms were good for storing and prepping all the food we brought as most amenities are closed for winter.

Loved staying inside park. The staff was great. Beds were pretty uncomfortable, though - not a place to stay for an extended amount of time.

Loved being inside GCNP. Service was excellent - twice we asked for extra items & they were brought

No dining choices, ice machine turned off and nowhere to purchase water or drinks. Terrible WiFi.

We loved staying inside the park because we could see the rise & sunsets. The lodge is very old & dated & the bathroom is small. It was clean & comfortable but definitely no frills. It was conveniently near a grocery store & deli which was one of the only places to eat during the pandemic. The staff was great!

Clean modern rooms inside the park. Convenient for star gazing at night. No microwave and slow internet (good opportunity to unplug).

We enjoy the location, can see wild life.the room was clean and confortable beds. The restaurant was closed and no coffemaker in the room.

This is very conveniently located. We didn't have much time to spend at the Grand Canyon, so it was great to be able to use this as our home base. When the details say there is Wi-Fi only at the lodge, that means there is no Wi-Fi without driving 5 minutes away. The rooms are not near the lodge itself; they are in separate buildings pretty far away. Everything was in great condition and quite clean. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to share this information with us. We apologize to hear you had a hot water issue during your stay and are happy to hear the front desk were able to move you to a more comfortable room. Unfortunately don't actually offer wifi in our guest rooms, but just in the hotel lobby. We do try to spread our bandwidth as far as possible but in the national park we have limited services to share unfortunately. Thank you again for sharing this and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
