Upon arrival, some guests smoking on balcony and hanging outside flicking their cigarettes into the stairs. Another woman on her phone hanging outside hotel room having a very loud conversation on her cell phone disturbing other guests. We had to change rooms because of these guests that were hanging outside of the hotel. A bit of hassle to change rooms but so glad we did. The rest of stay was fine.
I loved... the staff, the view of the gulf, the connecting rooms, the price, animals can stay, location to food and attractions. I disliked the beds.I didn’t like that it’s the only hotel it felt that took animals so it was packed with them. The floor was always sandy/dirty. The room was small.

It was great overnight stay before my cruise. Directly across the street from the beach, and 2 miles from the port. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. It's also located near shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!
It was clean and just what was wanted. Had a great view of the beah. Close to places to eat.
The staff was so nice and helpful!! The room condition was as expected. There was an orange liquid stain on the wall in the bathroom, mold stains on the shower curtains, and some bugs in the bathroom (the door to the hotel room was not fully closed/locked when we checked into the room).

Great location, breakfast area needs improvement. Breakfast area was small and crowded. We had to rush to get breakfast and take it back to our room. We really enjoy the patio area by the pool to unwind and relax.
Room was clean, staff is friendly, great location. The only thing I would change is add more towel racks to hang up wet items, only one small one by the sink.
Our tv did not work. I had asked in the morning to check it out. When we got back in early afternoon no message or new tv. Called front desk and was told maintenance would check it out. Five hours later after no maintenance had come by I again inquired to them be told could move or get discount. It being so late now I took discount but had I had been given option earlier I would have changed room and had a more enjoyable experience. I felt ignored and had I not kept asking, I would have continued to be ignored. This was more bothersome than the tv not working. The proper thing would have told me first thing that tv was not going to be replaced and I could move or get discount. It being the morning that would have been more of an option. I’d do appreciate the discount but that didn’t happen right off the bat. That was only because I kept asking about tv. I’m not sure this will be my first choice next time I visit.
It was pet friendly and on the seawall. Easy access to the beach.
The breakfast sucked. They only had waffles, cereal, muffins, and boiled eggs. They didn’t have many choices. All the La Quinta’s I’ve stayed at had scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. Not here. I rather have payed for a cheaper hotel that didn’t have breakfast.
