My hotel room conditioner had been used previously and not replaced with new, there were stains in the bathtub and there a hole in the bathroom door (a large hole that looked like a bullet hole on only one side) - someone’s previous incidental that had not been addressed. When I tried to report the situation to the front desk below he said he couldn’t do anything until day staff. He told me he left a note for a manager to call me back and I have not been called back. I do not recommend this hotel. I have and can provide pictures
Its close enough to go either to Galveston or the direction of Seabrook etc. Easy on of roads and quiet even though right on Hwy 146
The hotel was nice. But there was an oder in the entire hotel. Maybe from past floods.
Hotel was close enough to cruise parking destination. However the entire hotel had a mildew musty odor. It smelled like carpet had been wet n dried up but not shampooed or cleaned. I brought deodorizers for my room. I really wanted to change locations. Spent alot of time gone out of hotel because of the smell

Had to get a room unexpectedly at the last minute close to midnite. After the 11 hou car trip, staff Staff kind and helpful even telling us where we could get food delivered so late. A+ to the night staff and room!!
We stayed here on a business trip for 3 days and 2 nights. I read the reviews prior to booking and it seemed like the best choice in this particular location. It was only a few miles from the convention center (business location) and about 15-20 minutes from Galveston. They have everything you need, even the things you may have forgotten. I needed to make copies of documents at the last minute. The business center provided the tools I needed, and it was free of charge. We did not use the pool. It was small, but clean. The breakfast was good. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and of course the waffle maker. Awesome! They also had fruit, bagels, yogurt, coffee, juice and other continental type items on the menu. Our room smelled fresh and clean each day. I would recommend this hotel.
The A/C, toilet, and cable in the room did not work. The carpet in the room was a trip hazard as it had not been layed flat instead it moved caused a bubbled up area hence a trip hazard. The floor tiles in the bathroom were loose. Had to fix the toilet so that it would flush. Had to fix the cable box to it possible to watch tv. A room should have a working A/C, toilet, TV and no trip hazards. The customer should not have to fix things in a hotel room. Instead everything should be working correctly in a hotel room for the customer.
Overall hotel was good... The only thing that was a minus was the odor that hit you when you walked in the doors... It wasn't pleasant and it kinda was in the rooms... But then you get over it...
Good staff and fast service if location is not important.
It was not bad at all. Good overall location. Continental breakfast could have been better and being I drove 8 hours to get there they could have let my girlfriend take it to my room. Had to wake up and go to the dining area to go get it. It was like high school lunch. I was tired and she wanted to surprise me so they ruined that.
The room was clean, the pool was nice, the pillows were comfy. I would stay there again!
This hotel was very clean, and confortable. The breakfast was very good with protein options. Lobby was small but that was not something we were looking for. The room was spacious and the bed was very very comfortable.
Room was large and nice, Bed was comfortable, pillows resembled marshmellows (short and fat). Could not check in until after 3pm - no rooms ready at 3pm check-in. Staff insisted on placing $100 hold on credit card for incidentals - never had to do that before! When we checked out, I insisted they check the room & remove the hold. It was a bit of a hassle. Overall, nice room and easy access to Kemah & Galveston.
The hotel was much better than the pictures showed! Service was good! My only complaint and this is just my own problem was the pillows were like marshmellows (short and fat)! Other that that we had no complaints! Great experience!
This was a work related trip with little extra circular activity
