The room was really well done with unique and attractive designer touches. I didn’t have breakfast, but they seemed to have a good selection of items. The location is convenient. The gym is small, but they have two Peloton bikes down there which was fun.

It was the worst room in the hotel. Bad conditions

Location and feel it was not a massive chain felt warm cozy and classic

Liked the location; many destinations were walkable. But Having to watch/listen to Fox News on the lobby television while I was checking in was horrific!

The hotel is pretty for its age, but lacking. The A/C wasnt working fully and it was very humid. One of the elevator wasnt working. The bathroom had black mold in the grout, and the ceiling repair needed completed. The windows in the room were very dirty and you could barley see out of them.

Great stay! Fantastic rooms, gorgeous lobby, and nice restaurant.

I drove into Ft Worth unexpectedly, and looked for a room with great reviews that wasn't part of a chain. The Ashton came up, I booked it, and voíla! Great choice and very comfortable stay. Staff was excellent! Will come back!

Room was small (typical of many historic hotels) but with quality furnishings. Don't expect a view, breakfast or pool. There are many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. This is a historic hotel built in 1915 that has been very tastefully updated.

We had a great stay-cation here. Awesome room with great staff. One minor thing they can do better at is valet. We had to walk in two times and just hand them my keys.

Nice boutique hotel in great downtown location. Excellent friendly staff. would definitely resist if in Ft Worth.

Great location within walking distance of all key downtown attractions. Staff was friendly and provided Texas-style hospitality. Overall a nice, pleasant experience. Would certainly recommend it.

The hotel is in the perfect part of downtown Fort Worth near Sundance Square and all the nice restaurants. We got away for one night and had never stayed there, expecting a quaint little room in a boutique hotel. We wildly underestimated this boutique! The normal, standard room was large with a very large bathroom. All very nice and clean and seemed newer than the building would indicate. Service was excellent - overall a wonderful night away.

I was only there briefly... got in after 8pm and left before 8am. However, had business downtown all day. Only valet parking available (I think). That cost $20, which included the garage parking also. Staff was fantastic! The room is cool.

Staff and location were very good. The room was nice but required some TLC. Light fixtures in the bathroom were coming out of their mirror base and the shower curtain does not extend the full length of the tub. Overall a very nice experience, but some of the "little things" require attention.

Upon check-in my girlfriend asked the clerk if the room had a view. She was told, "Oh, yes." The view turned out to be of an interior roof filled with smoke stacks, vents, and cables. Sharp-eyed girlfriend found what appeared to be blood on the nice off white bedspread. The TV channeling was very limited. Apparently the brand new owners of The Ashton opted to remove free HBO from the menu. Girlfriend went down to the lobby to look around and immediately the fire alarm went off. The place was surrounded by fire trucks. The elevator stopped working for quite sometime only to find out it was a false alarm, staff had to call in for fire alarm repair. Hey, what do you want: the bathroom was clean and nicely supplied and the location is very good.

Jacuzzi claw fort tub was fantastic. View from room 403 not so great. Staff and overall experience was great.

convenient location, easy checkin, friendly staff, free cookies each night

Great location, frendly helpful staff. Would expect a few more amenities from a hotel such as this.

The hotel is in downtown Fort Worth. Many restaurants in the area. We had a 2nd floor corner room that was very large. There was a lot going on outside all night but our room was very quite. We will definitely be back.
