While the resort itself was well maintained, the room that we had was dirty. When we got to the resort, there was old food in cabinets along with sand and garbage on the floors. Even after having it cleaned, we still had hair in the bathrooms. The service from staff was not ideal either. We had to call over five times in order to get a crib delivered (which I had called previously to arrange). This process was over a seven hour stretch. The location and pools were absolutely beautiful so it was really disappointing that the room itself and staff did not meet expectations.

Beautiful location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. A little pricey, but we would stay again!

Property is huge. Seems like they own half of Captiva. The resort is a combination of hotel, time shares and privately owned places. So not your typical hotel/resort. Location is fabulous. Beach is beautiful.

Great location on the beach. Room had full kitchen but groceries were very expensive. Pool with water slide was closed. Resort has a lot of activities like yoga, tennis, kids camp etc but everything costs extra and is expensive. Resort fees is also high and is charged per person and not per room.

There was a tremendous amount of disgusting dirty items in the room.

This place sucked. There was nothing to do, no amenities, everything was overpriced and there was no place to eat.
