I didn't like how the parking lot was on the side with only steps available . I didn't discover there was a flat surface to roll a cart on until a day later. The ice machine was broken several days in a row . I know it is no one's fault but the work out room and pool were both closed due to Covid.

Loved all the amenities of the property! Pool, golf carts, outdoor spaces, restaurants were all great amenities

If you are looking for a beautiful and tranquil retreat, you’ve found it. If you are looking for gift shop, coffee shop, or spa, you’ll have to leave the premises and search. The town can provide most of what you might be looking for within walking distance. It might be nice if the inn had a little book with suggestions for all of the above in each room.

Walking distance to the main streets, helpful staff, nice lobby and meeting area, warm and clean pool, pretty grounds, bedding was decent

I stayed in the New Harmony Inn in the 1976 and 1977 and it was beautiful. The village was very charming with lots of shops. The problem for the Inn is that its 2016 and it needs to modernize. The Inn has no rooms with double queen size beds. Our room had a trash can full of trash. The beds had one pillow so we had to ask for more. The second day we weren't left clean glasses and had to ask for clean glasses. The Red Geranium still delivers good food. The continental breakfast was nice but for the price of $158 + taxes for three people the breakfast could be much better. The town doesn't have the shops it used to have but that isn't the Inn's fault. The grounds are still beautiful but I was disappointed in our room and the price. I wouldn't stay there again. Maybe I expected too much as I had seen it 40 years ago and those years haven't been kind to the Inn or New Harmony.

Thank you for giving your honest feedback about your stay. We apologize that the street-level entrance was not pointed out to you as indicated on the map provided at check in. We are happy to inform you that the ice machine in that building has been repaired. Alas, we rely on an outside vendor for those repairs and with the COVID backlog it was down for a few more days than we had anticipated. Thankfully, with the COVID restrictions being lifted recently in Indiana, we are pleased to announce that guests can now enjoy the Pool Pavilion and 24-hour Fitness Center! While these areas are open, we continue to ask that guests please follow safety measures in place at the Pool and Fitness Center. We hope you will give us the opportunity to provide a more satisfactory stay experience on your next trip to New Harmony!
