Facility could use some updating

The room smelled funny at checkin, like wet paint...the air conditioner did not work so there was an individual unit in there...it was LOUD AS HELL ALL NIGHT and even it did not work...it was 85 degrees in our room by morning even though the unit was set to 70. Out in the middle of no where...we used a coupon...that is what you get I guess...I would still stay here again, but turn off that unit and open the window.

It's a good location, close to everything. Very dated rooms...old cracked chair too large for the room. Bed was very, very uncomfortable. Walls are super thin so the room is very noisy. Air conditioner worked well but very loud.

The price was low but the reason why wasn't evident until we had a look at it! There were cigarette buts all around the entrance. The refrigerator was broken, the toilet seat was loose, the hot tub was full of foam. The carpet was filthy and the screen on the TV was very streaky. There was an odd smell in the room. Wouldn't stay there again if they paid me!!!

I am on an 80 day cross-country bicycle tour, staying in hotels every night. I will never stay in another Super8, ever. This one was filthy, and should lose their franchise. When we checked in, the room we were given was not clean at all and was not usable. They moved us to a new room. The next morning at 7:30 someone knocked on our door and promptly walked in. I believe the gentleman is the owner, he is from the Middle East and I was told does not speak any English. There was some confusion because they had changed us to that room, but you don’t walk in to someone’s room. The washing machine does not work, and the dryer does not turn off and so continues to rotate with the dryer door open. Overall, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Again, I will never stay in another Super8 ever.

The staff was very friendly but the property was not well kept. The window screen was duct taped, the pool was cloudy, and the Direct TV was not working. We had stayed at a Super 8 in Sault St Marie a few days earlier and the Escanaba location was mediocre in comparison to that one.

Hotel was fine, i little dated but still ok. Had a pet friendly room, it ended up being a two-room apartment which was nice!

Our room smelled like cat urine. We had a Jacuzzi suite and figured it was possibly because they had not gotten all the humidity out of the room.

I thought for the price it would be cockroach free...

Beds were extremely firm. Very cheap breakfast items. No protein available. Peanut butter was old and not spreadable.

We had a wonderful stay at here and celebrated our family Christmas. They staff was very accommodating and we had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were a bit hard for my liking, but everybody has a different comfort level.

I stayed there for 2 nights during a wedding, i think everything went as planned.

Just stopped on our way home to MN from Michigan and beyond. Good location, room was fine, though it didn't have a fridge or microwave. Bare minimum for soaps (no lotion/conditioner). Breakfast was good - both waffle makers ran great.

Nothing overly special, but a nice place for a few nights. Pool and hot tub were a welcome addition after riding all day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok for a continental one

It's a good location, close to everything. Very dated rooms...old cracked chair too large for the room. Bed was very, very uncomfortable. Walls are super thin so the room is very noisy. Air conditioner worked well but very loud.
