Hotel is really run down, walls are scratched everywhere. Breakfast is not what it used to be, no housekeeping the entire stay. Caulking in showers moldy/rusty, bed linens so thing almost holey, and beds old and sunk in. Super disappointing and not cared for.

First room hadn't been properly serviced and the sheets were worn so thin one had holes. Couch cushions worn through. Second room was not much better and it was evident that the sheets hadn't been changed. 3rd room finally was properly cleaned and serviced but almost as worn out. Staff was nice about it, admitted that they can't get housekeepers.

Didn't get to move in, so, nothing i can say i like. What i don't like is we booked our room more than a month a advance, arrived there on day of and there was no room. They told us them couldn't contact us in advance because Orbitz does not release contacts to them, only the names (I'll like for Orbitz to verify this). They sent us to another hotel with a downgraded room that could mot accommodate us we were left stranded and had to find anothsr hotel on our own. I WILL NEVER STAY AT HOME2 SUITES, Erie and will likely not book through Orbitz again.

I was upset to find that they did not have a full kitchen in the suite as advertised on the orbitiz site. You receive a hotnplate and an electric fry pan. Full kitchen to me means you have an actual stove top to cook on.

Location was very good for our trip as we were Christmas shopping. I know these are trying times but I felt the breakfast could have been better. The light above the mirror in the bathroom did not work. When I reported the issue I was told they already knew. Not sure why it wasn't corrected.

Place was very ckean. Very surprised. Pool was actually warm

We enjoyed our stay at this facility. The beds were comfortable, the pool was fun, and the breakfast was appreciated. A down-side was lack of space for the continental breakfast - the set-up was congested into a small area, and necessary items (forks, cups, cereal) were constantly low. There were too few seats to accommodate the breakfasters.

I like the atmosphere and I would request a hair dryer

I loved the idea of having only a shower and no tub. I loved the kitchen area with glass housewares and a dishwasher. Loved the larger than normal hotel refrigerator. Check personnel (Mr. Williams) was very friendly. It was nice to have breakfast but that could have been better. I don’t like packaged egg sandwiches would have rather had real eggs and fresh meat. However the seating was very nice.

I loved the patio with the fire pit. Our shower had very low pressure — unsatisfying. The room has a small kitchenette but really no where to sit besides the couch.

We love that the rooms are so big and the variety of foods available for breakfast.

We stayed one night at Home 2, as we spent a couple days at Presque Isle State Park. the hotel is clean and overall a nice place to stay. We were frustrated and a bit disappointed because, check-in was complicated due to third party booking with Orbitz. However, the staff was very pleasant and professional in dealing with the situation and patiently resolved it. We were a bit frustrated because our room door was broken and it took us about a half hour to get into our room after a long day traveling and doing activities. And the next morning, we grabbed breakfast downstairs and brought it to our room to heat up (because breakfast ends pretty early @ 9am), and them our microwave did not work. So, we had to go back downstairs and ask if we can use the one in the lobby (which was inconvenient for us and the staff).

Very clean and desk service was very accommodating and courteous.

The only problem we had was we booked a king size bed and got a queen.

I was very tired and the room was very relaxing

It's not a good maintenance plan to wait until the second elevator breaks before you get the only other one fixed. The people at the front desk knew that, but they hadn't had a manager in 3 weeks and corporate didn't seem to listen to their pleas. The Home2 concept has promise, but it that promise isn't always lived up to. Take the yogurt toppings they show on the website -- they were there, but the yogurt wasn't. Instead of a plain yogurt waiting for toppings, there we small containers of flavored yogurt. The salt water pool was a great idea, but somehow I expected it to be warmer. The biggest problem is something they can't fix. Low prices mean cheap construction, and the noise from the rooms overhead is pretty loud. If the offer you a 4th floor room, take it. Just ask if the elevators are running first.

Thank you for staying with us at the Home2 Suites Erie. As with many long term stay properties, we offer induction tops for use in our rooms. Only about half of our guests use thee stovetop feature, therefore we use the induction burners to give more counter space to those who won't use it, and a way to cook on a stove for those that do! We hope to see you again in the future.
