Horrible experience!!! My daughter discovered that they had bedbugs!!! Front desk staff helped us move to another hotel after we refused 2 stay in the room or hotel because they had bedbugs; nonetheless, it was a horrible, drawn out process and i would never stay at this hotel again. I would also never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

Dirty musty over priced hotel, with a hallway to a waterpark

The employees were really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing.

Everything was clean friendly people . Price wasn’t too bad . Close to shop and food

We chose this hotel for our vacation. We had a good experience. Nice pool area, decent breakfast buffet, nice staff, great beds that offer a great night's sleep, and in a great location for a decent price! Can't beat that! The only 2 complaints I had were that I found a dirty towel in our room when we had arrived, but we told the housekeeping staff and they changed our towels with no problems, and the second day that we were there, we left the room to go to lunch, and had already stopped by housekeeping to get fresh towels (to avoid them coming in the room, I don't like anyone being in the hotel room when we aren't there, but that's just my personal preference), and when we got back, they had come in and again changed our towels and made the bed, but hadn't put fresh linens on it, just made it. However, that wasn't a big deal, really, considering I wasn't expecting a change of linens that day anyway. Overall, it was a great experience! This hotel in particular does not have an elevator, but is only 2 floors. So I recommend packing lighter if you don't wish to make more trips to the second floor.

The hotel was very conveniently located; the parking was good. Our room was cool but very damp. It was full of fruit flies (we had no food in our room). We even found a slug type creature on the wall. The breakast buffet was very disorganized with stations all over the room. Minimal fruit, no yogourt. My eggs were cold by the time I found bread to toast AND had a long hair in them. There was no coffee or cups, and when asked, the staff were very abrupt. Paid to eat at Bob Evans the next day. Stayed in Erie hotels many times before but WON'T be back to this one. Very poor value for $$ paid.

First time we booked through [...]. We booked 2 non-smoking rooms for 2 nights. When arriving, we were told by the hotel that "non-smoking" rooms booked through [...] are treated as only as a request and since the hotel was booked solid, we would have to take smoking rooms. The rooms "reeked" of smoke. The manager tried using a machine for an hour to clean the odor from the rooms and changed all of the linens but with little success at reducing odor. Since it was a big soccer weekend in Erie, all of the other hotels in the area were booked so we put up with the odor and avoided the room.

Excellent on and off of interstate; plenty of eating places nearby; plus next door to a water park. Room was a shabby. Wall paper had tears and there were scratches on some walls.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn in Erie was not a good experience. The man working the front desk was not very friendly. The room was very out-dated and the furniture had scratches all over them. On our second day we came back to the room to find that someone had gone through our luggage, with clothes thrown about, luckily nothing had been taken. The manager apologized and escorted us to a new room where he opened the door to find that it had already been given out to other guests because there was luggage, clothes, and toiletries in the room. The manager once again apologized and then set us up in a different hotel across the street. Needless to say that we will not be staying at the Comfort Inn in Erie again.
