Great stay at a classic Duluth hotel. Great location and quiet too.

Great location and property for an extremely reasonable price but the staff could be a bit more friendly.

It's a fine simple place. Nothing Fancy, but a good clean solid place.

It's right off bike trail, my reason for travel...............................................

We had a few issues with our stay - we were placed in the wrong room which caused a few issues for our stay (a family with 2 young kids so we needed the room we reserved). The bathroom door would not shut all the way, and the fridge was extremely dirty/sticky on arrival. I tried contacting the inn before posting a review and waited almost 2 weeks, but didn't get a response.

Willard Munger Inn satisfied us beyond our expectations. Jeff and his staff were simply amazing! The state trail, which starts right by the inn, leads to a very long biking path with greenery on either side. Did I mention that the inn provides the bikes for free? And they also gave us free pass to the lake superior zoo situated across the area? Best value for money and good quality stay within minutes to Duluth. Highly recommend it.

Such a cute gem! Driving up we were worried as the outside is outdated. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we opened room 102. It was so cute and up north themed. The bed was comfy and clean. Shower was small but clean. Our only complaint would be that the blinds allowed some light in and allowed people look in a little bit. Other than that, it was beautiful! Would definitely stay again!!

I was pleasantly surprised, our room was very clean, roomy, and nicely decorated. Very quiet and comfortable experience. At about half the price of the big chain motels, this was excellent.

Not the Ritz, but oh so quaint! Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Enjoyed the free breakfast and free zoo pass! Just a neat little mom and pop feel inn

Nice hotel. Breakfast provided. Good service. Clean and respectful place. Totally recommended

The staff went out of their way to treat my family well, including giving us a free upgrade. My kids had a blast and constantly beg to go back to this hotel. I was very happy and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff. Great breakfast. Clean rooms and our bed was amazing. It's a great hotel with cheap rates.

Air did not work. Lamp did not work. Coffee maker plug would only work and reach a floor level plug in. Bathroom towel rack missing. Clothes hook on back of bathroom door missing. The gentleman who prepared breakfast was very unfriendly and we had to put up with a Black Lab dog looking for hand outs from those of us sitting for breakfast. Sorry, shouldn't have to put up with that while eating. Picnic table bench broke in half when sitting on it to play some cards---no, my brother is not a fat--- 6' 2" 220lbs Room was incredibly small and painted block wall BROWN. Not anything like shown on their web page

Room was adequate for the price - didn't compare to a modern hotel, which can be good or bad, depending on your personal taste. Room was nice but bathroom is tiny, small things are broken (like on the whirlpool) and just looks tacky. Room service was great, though. Breakfast was provided and was adequate - again, small inconveniences were present, like no coffee creamer, hot water for the tea that was out and little things like that. Room was comfortable, but half of us were roasting by the heater and the others were freezing on the futon. It was ok.

The manager and his sweet pup Jersey really made the experience. He was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again!
