YES I PAID FOR A SHARED ROOM AND GOT SIX FAT MEN SNORING ALL NIGHT THAT WAS AFTER I WAS OPUT IN A ROOM NEXT TO A BAR THAT WAS GOING FULL BLAST

Amazing location, close to the central bus station, tram line, and the Airlik airport bus stop. 8-10min walk to "the spire". Great staff, very organized and well informed about things to do in town. You can also book your excursions right at the front desk.

The have pods which allowed for some privacy. Overall it’s a great hostel

Great service. Friendly staff. Diverse people to meet and hang out with. Do the free walking tour to meet fellow travelers!

As a woman traveling alone I was warned to stay away from hostels, well they were wrong. I stayed in a mixed room and had zero issues. The rooms require unique access codes and you have to use an access card to get into the different areas. They check your "security pass" (just your reciept showing room/bunk number) if you come in after 11pm to ensure only guests are coming in. The bunks each have a privacy curtain and lockable wire baskets that fit my medium sized luggage with room to spare. There is an in room bathroom with shower but the floor I was on also had a female bathroom with multiple showers. There were newly installed bunk power outlets but they weren't functional yet. There is a USB hub to charge your phone and power strips if you have the correct adaptor. They were hard to get to since it was in the back corner and by a bunk but still useful. The area was near a few transportation hubs which was nice but I walked everywhere I wanted to go without any issues.

Booked a pod room. Felt very safe. Good security. Simple breakfast. Two blocks from airport bus stop. Friendly staff.

Beds are hard , my linens never got changed they took my towels and never replaced them, the light in my room went out they did not fix it trying to pack and get dressed in the dark was ridiculous , my yoke card I constantly had to go back and get it fixed , I did meet some nice people while I was there and it is close to allot of shopping centers that’s the only plus

Terrible receptionist ruined all my experience and thoughts about Jacobs inn. Hope they remind themselves deep thoughts whether they work there to 'help' guests or just sit down over desk and kill your time and show all your hysterical attitude to guests who ask for a help. Totally bad experience by those two young receptionists behavior.

Very comfortable room and bathroom. Shares areas are new and well decorated. Spacious dinner room and elevators. 24/7 counter service, offer good info about city tours.

Stayed here one night and had a great experience. The hostel beds had curtains which is nice and the hang out areas were cool. There is a sweet craft beer bar close by.

For a hostel this is an incredible place to stay. Full continental Breakfast included, clean rooms, beds have curtains for privacy and personal charging station with reading light, Great wifi throughout, Central location which all combine for an excellent experience! A 5/5 star accommodation!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, Eamonn. Our dorms are mixed, and we welcome all guests, which means some times a dorm has more or less of either gender. We're sorry to hear that you disliked your first room, however our staff worked to put you in a room that better suited your needs. While it was on the main floor, across the lobby from the bar, our bar has live music that stops at 11pm. We're sorry to hear that this affected your stay.
