Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size, but could use some updates/improvement. The window didn’t seal properly so we had to crank the furnace up to stay warm. We only stayed one night so it was fine.

Was next to bus station so easy access to transportation.

Nice location and excellent staff and great breakfast. Be aware that the building is full of steps even on the same floor. Bed was less than desirable but overall a good experience. Would stay here again.

Good location. Clean and servicable. Sole con - Room temp was quite warm with no air con or ability to open windows beyond a crack- it is only May so not sure if summer temps would be satisfactory. I think the property may have central air which kicks in later in the summer - worth checking, note- this may be an issue in similarly priced hiteks in Europe. Other than room temp caveat, i would stay there again.

Cozy hotel, good value, close to many public transportation options, and walking distance to many local attractions!

Clean simple room. Noise outside as the hotel is close to overhead train line

Aside from a small bit of difficulty finding my way to the hotel from the outbound Airlink Express stop, I had a very fine stay at the Beresford. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was large, well-maintained, and clean, with a spacious, modern, shower that felt luxurious in comparison with those I associate with moderately priced European hotels. I especially appreciated the elevator, which, although small, was modern, well-maintained, and eliminated the need to navigate several flights of stairs with a large suitcase. The hotel location is excellent, across the street from the main bus terminal and within easy walking distance of the Connelly rail station and the O'Connell Street shopping district. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would happily return should my travels bring me back to Dublin.

Older hotel, but very clean and maintained. Great central location. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall great experience.

Nice hotel right next to the bus station. About a 10-15 minute walk to most attractions, and a 20-25 minute bus ride to/from the airport. Room was simple but clean. TV was small and signal kept going out, but not a huge deal since we didn’t spend much time in there. Most attractions are on the south side of the river, and this is on the north side, so not a great pick if you want to be in the middle of the sites. However, a good pick if you want a more quiet area that is only a short walk or bus ride to the sites. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is situated in a fantastic spot in Dublin. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars the Beresford Hotel is a great spot to stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The only reason I can't give the hotel a 5 star is the walls were a tad thin in the Georgian wing. However I do plan on staying here again the next time I take a trip to Dublin.

It’s in a decent section of town with a centralized location and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The room itself was pretty awful. No towels or wash clothes and no controls on the heat. Either it’s all the way off and freezing or all the way turned up. I stayed on the 2nd floor and there were additional stairs with no ramp or elevator to access my room. It’s all well and good if you’re traveling with very little luggage or don’t have physical disabilities preventing you from traveling up and down stairs. Also, the stairwell smells like urine. Overall, it’s a 1.5 Star hotel for a 3 Star price. Save your money and book an Air BnB

Even with the windows closed there was noticeable traffic noise

The hotel is nice but you must have a rear facing room to avoid noise from bus terminal across the street and trolley cars (trams) ridding by the front of the hotel with overhead electrical connections. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent (10 or 11 Euros), and the restaurant for dinner is good. There should be an ice machine and/or small refrigerators in each room. The air conditioners in each room are marked out of order but AC is not really needed when the top temperature is 70 F in July. We were there for 11 nights. If we had a shorter stay in Dublin, we would have upgraded to a more expensive hotel with more amenities. The location was very good, a short walk to several nice pubs (Ryan's, O'Shea's) where we ate and drank and had fun. It is not far from O'Connell Street with loads of shopping and more pubs and restaurants and the Visitor tour office. The 4th floor rooms are a walk up from the 3rd floor.

We stayed in the Georgian section of the hotel. The accommodations were beautiful and well maintained. Two challenges: 1) Getting from the lobby to our room in the Georgian sections was a maze. I got lost trying to follow the check in clerk's directions, and eventually, she had to walk me to the room. It involved two elevators with multiple small flights of stairs between. 2) The morning we left, there was no hot water. I don't think this is a chronic issue. I think we were just unlucky.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Staff were excellent. The shower had problems, had to hugg the wall to use it. Could use some improvement.

Great. Convenience. Right in the middle of downtown

The staff was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy. It was a bit small but I didn't come to Ireland to sit and admire my room! I would definitely stay here again!
