After booking my suite on Orbitz, upon arrival to the property I was informed that they had no room for me and that I had to move to a different hotel for accommodations in a regular room not a suite as I had paid for. Management was rude and useless, I will never stay at this hotel again and make sure that I do my share to make others aware of what they are capable of and to stay elsewhere.

My flight to Denver was delayed by five hours which meant I arrived at the hotel to check in at roughly 8:00 PM. When I arrived I was told the manager needed to speak with me in order to tell me that they had already given my room away mind you this was only 8 PM and extremely unacceptable considering I have booked over a week in advance. They did however relocate me to a Hampton Inn which to my surprise was an acceptable hotel although not comparable to what I’m used to while staying at the art hotel. While the staff were friendly, this whole experience has put a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot see booking here in the future.

The hotel is beautifully designed and right next door to museums. Check in was easy and it was nice to have the $20 hospitality fee we paid go to food and drink. And the complimentary snacks and drinks was wonderful. The only thing we didn’t like was the $40 daily parking charge but we know this is typical for the area.

Proximity to red rocks amphitheater and overall music theme are great, but the positive ends there and is wiped out by the atrocious management of this property. Our room was not ready until long after checkin time and we were late leaving for our concert entirely due to the mismanagement of this property. Many other travelers encountered the same problem. No food available after concerts, which is ridiculous. Cups in rooms are not wrapped. Staff was polite but no effort was made to make this right. We will NEVER stay here again. Very expensive to be treated so poorly. I’d much rather drive another 20 minutes for some peace, value, and after-concert late night food. Glad we are not staying here for the three additional shows we are attending this week. Golden, here we come.

On the positive side: The location was perfect for museum visiting, and we were able to walk everywhere. We found there were much cheaper parking options available near the hotel. The hotel was comfortable and rooms were spacious. The snack and breakfasts in the restaurant were tasty and the setting was very nice. Problems: We had to ask for pillows that were not huge and uncomfortable. We didn't know there would be no room service until we asked and were told it was upon request only. The staff was pleasant but the restaurant was very understaffed and the waits were long. Having the lobby on the 4th floor was rather awkward, as there was no bellman when we arrived to help with luggage and no real directory to tell us where the lobby was.

I had a mountain veiw room the veiw was great the hotel is nice and the staff also

The location at the moment (August 2020) is really non convenient. The area is full of homeless people. It makes the walking around the area SCARY

Not worth the money. Good location but otherwise bed uncomfortable, sofa sleeper with sharp object sticking out that scratched arm several times, smashed bug on side of desk (questionable cleanliness), and shower hard to figure out how to work.

Very beautiful hotel..room was excellent..only gripe is the parking situation $40 to park

Great staff at check in and in the bar. The hotel is a lovely space.

I’ve stayed in many of the high-end Denver hotels, had been wanting to try this for a couple years. It’s just superlative. Fantastic, gracious staff, the FIRE restaurant is awesome, as an art lover, I was just dazzled at every turn. I am a hard grader, and I gave them the top score on every count. Don’t miss the chance to stay here!

We were told the fridge in the room was included with the “resort charge”. First day it had 4 soft drinks, Perrier and two carafes of water which we consumed. The next day, no water carafes were put back into the fridge, the soft drinks had 1 replaced and the coffee wasn’t replenished. When you are told something is included and it only partially gets refilled the next day, it looks like you are being really cheap which isn’t what I think you guys are after.

Extremely convenient to walk to cultural attractions downtown including the Denver Art Museum, Clyfford Still Museum and Kirkland Museum. Overnight parking options are very limited however, compared to north of the capitol. Complimentary candy let us know that they welcomed children, and we saw quite a few families, including ours.

Friendly staff. Clean. Close to lots of attractions
