DO NOT LET THE 4 STAR RATING FOOL YOU. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this hotel because it was advertised as one of the best in the downtown Dallas area and from the pictures it looked nice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by arguing homeless people right outside the door and much commotion. The front door to the hotel can only be accessed by a room key so we had to stand outside for a moment. It’s locked because of the bad area that it’s located. We were given our room keys and headed up to our room. The room keys did not work and we had to go back down to the lobby and they had to completely switch our room. Our next room keys that were given to us, only one of them worked. Our room was extremely outdated and the unbelievably strong mold smell hit us the second we opened the door. The ceiling had many spots where it was brown and definitely had some sort of leakage from above. Our pillows and blankets had old makeup smeared on it and the headboard had a some sort of liquid on it that looked recent. The shower curtain on the inside of the shower was covered in black mold and almost all of the utilities in the bathroom were broken or damaged. At night it was hard to sleep because next door is a bar and you could hear screaming and police sirens all night. The food in the breakfast area was almost all expired. My yogurt that I grabbed was 21 days expired. My only positive was that the staff was nice.

old old property in very very bad area of town. DO NOT STAY HERE WITH YOUR KIDS. staff was super nice but that did not make up for the poor conditions. shower looked horrible, cracks, poor repainting, etc. no shower gel. asked for no feather since i am allegic. waited 10 minutes for them to check room and give it all clear - but of course the pillows were feather. AARGH. near the jail and bus stop so lots of homeless people around. one was sitting there pooping on the sidewalk. pool was close for maintanence but they never told us and that is one of the reasons we choose this location! front door locked in evening which i get bc of the area they are in, but room key system does not work so we had to wait for someone to come to front desk to unlock outside door. I would never stay there again.

There was no hand soap. Room was gross. Sheets didn’t feel clean. The sheets had old make up on them. The environment didn’t feel safe with people walking in drunk. Until about 3am we heard screams, loud cars because we were down the block from a bar. Ambulances. We smelled weed A LOT in the hotel out and out of the hotel. We actually left the next day to go to a better hotel because the environment was that bad. We will not be going back there.

The staff was great!

We were harassed by the staff in the manager for having a service animal. It got so bad that we left a day early

It was fine

Overall great hotel, good location to walk to American Airlines Arena. A few restaurants also in walking distance, no on site parking, only lots...but had no issues.

Did not clean the room or nothing for us our whole stay

No parking and to loudly to lost ok screaming outside.. scary

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room they put us in at first had an annoying squeak when the bathroom light was turned on and the room was small. The staff changed our room immediately and got us a little bit bigger room also. It was really noisy from the street during the night. The street noise woke me up in the middle of the night with cars racing, people yelling, and police sirens. It was a really great location for the House of Blues and neighboring restaurants.

Our sheets had nasty stains on them. I have pictures. I Don't believe there were change from the prior guest.

Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again. Big rooms!!!

The breakfast exceeded expectations. It was delicious.

Older building Staff was super !!! The drawback was flimsy plastic plates and utensils at breakfast They are trying to be green Even if the plates were recycled they didn’t have a special bin to toss that way Not a fan of the plastic Was close to attractions and restaurants

Todo estuvo muy bien. Everything was good thanks!!!!
