Hair in sheets, stains on sheet, mold on showered, towel rack pulling out of wall, unclean faucet for bathroom sink, sandpaper-like towels...really bad property. Current 3 of 5 stars highly inaccurate...1 or 0 stars would be much more accurate. No real good reason to stay here and I'd recommend you look elsewhere. Think three time before booking this property...and then don't!

This was a good place to stay as my girlfriend and I checked out Theodore Roosevelt National Park, about 30 miles away in an easy drive. We enjoyed the facility. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the pool. We also went for a run on a loop around the nearby community college the next day. The national park was nice too!

The hotel room was dirty, sheets were dirty and threadbare, counters and end tables had but been wiped down, toilet was dirty. The outside grounds had junk and debris scattered around.

We had our trailer along and appreciated the large open parking lot.

We did not stay want my money back it was so dirty

The place was a night mare, say no more and tear it down. It ruins the area

Room was not very clean. Building is under construction. Staff was nice and friendly.

Was disgusring from flimsy sheets to junk in yard, flaking paint.

Loved the town of Custer. The property is extremely run down but starting to be renovated. Our air conditioning was held together with duct tape, no batteries in smoke detector, dead bugs in corners of room, holes and missing boards in walk ways. The breakfast is very limited but staff was very nice.

If staying more than one night, no motel is offering room service. With that said I always want enough towels in the room for three or four people. Because that’s what I’ve booked. A few hotels did not have extra towels to give me when only two were in the room. Dakota cowboy had sufficient towels in place. Thank you

Tub was bot clean and the facility is very aged

Toilet seat was broke off. Toilet paper holder was broke off. Big black stain on the white sheets. Long black hairs in between the sheets. Obviously the sheets don’t get changed. Bathroom stunk of mold.

Jay at the front desk was good. The room itself was below par. Stained linen. Ripped towel. The room served its purpose, and location was superb. I will even consider staying here again if I am traveling on a budget, and I will definitely ask for different sheets. I am a hotelier, and I know I didn't stay at a resort, but certain standards are required.

The view was the best and right next to a good restaurant.

Good for overnight stay. Room had some smell when arrived. Too tired to request change when arrived late.

I couldn't believe such run down motels exists? Old and musty, broken bathroom. Wow is this because we're in the Dakotas?

The room is spacious. The location is very good, close to Crazy Horse Memorial and Rushmore Mt. The staff are very friendly. We love there.
