Nice motel room was clean floor a little dirty..........................

The hotel is in a great location, easy access to the beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. An older style facility with two separate wings and a common central reception and breakfast area. Rooms are quite large with plenty of counter space and a nice sized area with a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is quite small however with barely enough room to move around in. The tub and toilet locations require a bit of a dance to get in and out of the bathroom with the door location. Given it's a beach town, there is a drastic shortage of towel hooks, which means you have to get creative with where and how you hang up your towels. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything (EVERYTHING - we were there over spring break) from the adjoining rooms and in the room above you. If you want peace and quiet, ask for a room on the second level. We were up all night listening to someone pace about in the room above us; every step was like a thunderous beat of a bass drum. And then there was the "jumping on the bed". It really wasn't a pleasant experience. The continental breakfast was sparse but adequate. Waffle maker with a toaster and a selection of yogurt and fruit, along with 3 options for cereal. If you're looking for eggs and sausage, this isn't the place for you, but it suited our needs. We wouldn't likely stay here again, but it is in a great location if you need a hotel and a continental breakfast. Next time we'd likely rent a VRBO.

The property and staff were fine. But we were on the bottom floor ans we could hear the people above us walking and letting their kids runs in the room.. Was very frustrating!

Close to the beach ... Off highway so didn't get highway noise. Wall thin ... Heard people in ajoining room too easily ... as there was hardly anyone at the hotel during our stay it would have been better if people were placed in rooms far from each other.

The pool and hot-tub are is great, and the beach is so close! Good affordable family spot. Breakfast was typical high carb options with no proteins offerings, But my kids enjoyed the Texas shaped pancakes. The staff seemed grumpy and I watched one of he cleaning ladies yell and swear at her boss over the phone out in a public area about how she was working herself to death with no breaks and how the boss didn’t care about them. Most of the staff seemed unhappy and not incredibly welcoming or accommodating. Bad morale in the work place for sure. It’s an okay place to stay if you just need to crash, but don’t expect five star. Flat and bumpy pillows, basic older rooms, and mediocre breakfasts.

The room was very clean and had a pleasant smell. AIr conditioner/heater was far enough away from the bed to be relatively quiet. Everything worked well. The breakfast was good, although a continental, rather than "full", breakfast.

The pool and garden area was exceptionally beautiful.

Nice hotel but nothing really outstanding , good or bad. Had a nice stay. Rooms were clean , the pool & hot tub both were working and they had a little complimentary breakfast. Overall I think it was a good value.

Nice place, friendly staff great pool two blocks from the beach. Free breakfast was a bonus but was worth getting up. Rooms were great and easy to access.

Always stay here when I go to Port A. It's the perfect location even though your not on the beach. Only like 2 min drive to beach.

I'm staying here a week and love it! The hotel is beautiful and the location is great!

The rooms were large and roomy, almost to the point that they could've made the bathrooms bigger and maybe maybe the kitchenettes a little bigger for cooking in. The space isn't utilized very well. I did enjoy our stay very much. The breakfast could use some protein.

Location was good, staff front desk was nice but ladies who clean the rooms and brought us new towels were annoyed at helping. Room looked clean until you stepped on the floor and it was sandy sticky and very very dirty. Paid $75 per night including taxes and discounts. Location was good it was very close to shops and beach. It was ok for the money paid. ( don't forget to undue the sheets in your bed- ensures that the next person gets clean ones lol)

It was acceptable. I just really did not like the hard floors in the room and the air conditioner was not strong enough to cool the entire room well. Also, it wasn't quite in town, but a small drive down the main road

Good clean rooms. Nice front porches. Last night was load with yahoos staying up till 3 am drinking and being loud.
