Broken sink faucet, sink drain SLOW even after they "fixed" it, dirty phone, rips in sheets, threadbare areas in sheet, edges of stairs so dusty that they looked like they haven't been vacuumed for a year, "clean remote" cardboard holder was dirty, dimly lit hallway and inadequate lighting in the room, mismatched lamp shades, curtain not hanging from the hooks, sheer curtain repaired with staples, cover of heating/AC controls was broken and sitting on the window sill

We booked way in advance and when we got there the only rooms available to us was next to the ice machine and outdoor doors. We asked to be changed but they said nothing was available. The ice machine was noisy all night

Older hotel in need of updating. Room had lingering odor, as of smoking. Mildew staining on room window & tub. Uninviting pool.

We arrived early, and the staff was great in getting us getting us checked in as early as possible. We appreciated their thoughtfulness very much. Thank you!

The staff was great and the amenities were wonderful.

Good location

Clean

I liked that there were jucuzzi tubs in the room, there so hard to find. I didn’t get charged because they weren’t sure the charges but didn’t like how they were going to charge for a crib. Especially when it was for a disabled child. But they were still helpful and gave me the crib with some blankets and sheets for my disabled daughter to sleep in.

It was perfect for our travels

It was nice to have timed access to the hot tub. The door on our refrigerator was cockeyed, and it had a hard time opening and closing.

We stayed here to enjoy Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc. and it would be hard to find a better location! So close to everything, and we had a very good rate compared to the other options in the area. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was helpful, and the area was relatively quiet. The only issue we had was cell service, but reception was bad throughout Manitou Springs.

It was a nice little hotel in an older town. The sign says it is the newest hotel in the area, I guess in a relative term it is. The staff were awesome. The rooms are nice and clean. It seemed a little expensive for what we got but I would definitely go back. I love the cookies as we come back from a day's worth of activities. The hotel was quiet. It is easy to get to. There are things to point out as minor issues if you're really picky about any of these things. Carpets looked old and a little dirty (it is February and muddy outside). The elevator sounds like it needs some repair work. The TV is a little small in this day and age, adequate but noticeable. The vending machines on 2nd floor were broke. Only issues we had were that they did not turn up heat before we got there, so it felt like 60 degrees in the room and we had to turn if up high and went out to an early dinner to let the room heat up. We did get there 90 minutes early, so I don't know if that was part of it or not. Also, one of the legs on the fridge was missing, so it leaned when you opened it and wasn't cooling right so we used ice and our cooler.

My stay at this hotel was not one of the greatest hotels I've been at. The desk clerk was very friendly and that's pretty much the only thing I can say about this hotel that was decent. Her name was Jennifer and she was very nice and very friendly. As far as the hot tub goes the Jets were very powerful there was one jet on each side that only hit one spot, the bed was as hard as a rock we had to go buy a memory foam in order to sleep the next night we were there, I ended up getting bit by bed bugs and there was a mouse running around in our room which I could hear at night when I turned off the lights and found the droppings when I got home in bags. So I will not be returning to this particular Hotel.

The staff consistently goes above and beyond in meeting my request for no air fresheners or scented cleaning products - most greatly appreciated! The entire property is very well maintained, clean, and safe as well. This is always my first choice when staying in the Colorado Springs area.
