Was quiet. Staff excellent. Beautiful rooms and views.

This is an Historic Building with such a good feeling about it. The rooms are so charming, beds are very good, staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel so welcome. The Cliff House Dining Room is a pleasure to eat in. The veranda is spacious and lovely with fire pits and comfy seating, and you can order food and beverages, so beautiful at night. We didn’t have a microwave in the room but we didn’t need it. Wonderful location to walk around Manitou Springs, lovely town. Staying at the Cliff House is a memorable experience.

Love the location and history in Manitou and at Cliff House. We were very disaplointed in service. Our room was late to be checked in to by 15 minutes. we stood at counter for 5 minutes with staff around and were not acknowledged. We were told to wait in the tea room where we were completely ignored, seemingly because the only other family in there looked like they had money. I guess we didnt. I paid for a suite for my wife only to be thoroughly disappointed with service. At breakfast next morning, minus our direct waitress, everyone else seemed like we were a bother to them. At checkout, with multiple guests checking out, we had to wait 15 minutes for valet because they only had 1 valet worker.

I loved the vintage vibe of stepping into our room. It was adorable, very well decorated, turn down service was amazing. We ended up ordering room service because we wanted to stay in and enjoy our room as long as possible. Will be coming back for sure!

the property is nice the amenity fee is a rip off. It provided nothing in the form of "amenities"

On the register of historic hotels with all the modern conveniences! I really enjoyed my stay. Also a big shout out to Orbitz! I originally book a different bed and breakfast that fell through at check in. Obitz customer service and reservations took the absolute best care and rebooked me into the Cliff house at no additional cost. I am a Orbitz member for life.

Beautiful historic hotel, excellently maintained, super friendly staff, lovely decor. Quiet, but right in town, walk to restaurants, shops, cafes, and to SunWater Spa. I’ll be back for sure.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I was disappointed that the steam shower was set at a temp that was scalding. I have had steam showers before and they are not that hot.

The Cliffs is centrally located in the heart of Historic Manitou. Walking distance to shops & restaurants.

Excellent room size, decor and comfort. Staff was outstanding in help and courtesy. Would recommend a stay here for anyone.

We loved the Cliff House. The room was delightful and staff very pleasant and helpful. The only problem we had was the toilet was difficult to flush otherwise everything was perfect. Especially enjoyed the front verandah with the fire pits!

Classic, historic hotel. Superb service. All food excellent.

Great, quaint little property in a perfect location. The food, drinks and staff were all amazing; surpassed my expectations! My only critiques were the bed was a too hard for my liking but I’m sure it was A+ for those who like hard beds and the heater was pretty noisy. Neither of these things are enough for us to plan our next visit back there.

We are disappointed to hear of your experience during your stay. These are not the standards we strive to maintain at The Cliff House. We have taken your concerns to our Management Team so that the staff can be re-focused to prevent further issues. We hope you will give us another chance in the future.

We are sorry that you felt our amenity fee provided nothing and that is was not properly explained to you that it covers the bottled water in your room, the use of the Fitness Center, Unlimited WiFi, the old fashioned turndown service with chocolates and breakfast for two.
