I want to be really clear. The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and polite. The property was in horrific conditions. There was mold in the bathroom, behind the tv, behind and on the sides of the mirror, around the outlets. Paint was peeling in several places, vinyl baseboard in bathroom peeling from wall. Bugs in light fixtures, gaps in front door allowing in more bugs. The owners of this property should be ashamed of themselves. I do construction, and I was almost tempted to rip out the baseboard, take down and clean the light fixtures, clean the a/c filter, sand down the walls, treat the mold and repaint. To fix this would have taken 1 day and maybe a few hundred dollars. Unacceptable in my opinion. We almost raised hell, but we knew it had nothing to do with the staff, and my wife and I didn’t want to deal with the frustrations and moving and complaining all considering it was our anniversary. So hopefully this was just a bad Motel 6 ownership, and not a trend because we have usually had good luck with Motel 6.

The room was clean and spacious

Not the cleanest property on the beach, but it is pet friendly. People need to pick up after there dog! You know who You are! The price is a little high for what you get. The one bright spot is Miss Jackie at the front desk! A true asset to motel 6 !

The premium room is big and pet friendly. Close to everything, over all a good value.

There's no breakfast , outside of motel is run down pretty bad. The room we stayed in was somewhat updated.

Pool was closed but property is a short walk to the beach. No fridge in the room but room was clean.

Contrary to having a reservation and re-booking it the second time Motel 6 hasn’t done a thing to the property in 6 to 9 months. There is someone working in the front office was very helpful but not a single thing has happened and the place is closed. They don’t like to deal with third parties and that’s the way it is. I don’t think any money was on the line, but it was a disappointment when I got there.

The staff was so short handed that our room was not ready until midnight. That's after returning every couple of hours to stand in line again to find that the room was still not ready. Once we got in the room it was Disgusting! Live and dead bugs everywhere. The smell of sewer gas coming out of the drains was sickening! We would have left had their been anywhere else available. Never again for us!

The room was not clean. If I could add pictures to this I would. The shower had a few different shades of dirt and had not been scrubbed in ages. The people next door were living there. I spoke to them. They do daily work/ daily pay. They were smoking in their room and outside the front door. The smoke came into my room around the door. The door did not seal very well. At night, light could be seen around the door. Also, the smoke was sucked into the air conditioner my room had. It was your typical wall unit every cheap motel has. I went to the office to state my concerns. They said "We will look into it". We cold not move, the office said they were full. For the $87, pay a little more and go somewhere else.

Smelled bad of mold and no cont breakfast for the price

First off, every one was nice and helpful. Tina, Casey, and Tori about saved my life and sanity by accomodating my emergencies and also just being over all pleasent, friendly and excellent at having conversation. I also happen to meet the General and assistant managers who were extremely personable and allowed me to feel comfortable with my stay.

In two nights, we were called two times by the front desk asking us to keep our music down. We weren’t playing any music or making loud noise of any kind. Also, one of the two nights someone pulled the fire alarm and the sirens in our room were excessively loud to the point where 10 minutes after they finally stopped going off, my ears were still ringing. I didn’t expect for it to be the nicest place, based on the price, but even for a cheap hotel it was pretty bad.
