It was our second visit, and it was disappointing. We arrived at 4 pm, and checked in at 4-10. Our room was not ready. We waited for an hour, and then received a call that room is ready. I came to front desk and they told it was a mistake and room is not ready yet, apologies and offered a discount ( they never actually applied this discount! Just promised) After another 30 minute wait ( we have two tired kids with us) I came to front desk again, and another girl checked again at it appears our room WAS ready 30 minutes ago!! Ridiculous. And, what a room! Facing adult pool ( loud noise till 11pm), outdated. Probably not a big deal for someone adult, but a big problem for family with small kids. When arrived in the pool at 8 am, there were still bottles and other trash on the side, not sure if anyone is cleaning it at all. Stuff was nice and friendly, but overall impression is they do not communicate well with each other, maid service is understaffed, and they don’t really care to keep their promises.

The hot pool was lovely. Great that masks weren't required in the pools. The room was outdated and the bed was very uncomfortable. No housekeeping because of covid,it was a struggle getting dry bath towels.

The building is very old and only somewhat maintained. Rooms are very small. The pools were PACKED with people. I felt like I was at a low key frat party at some points; difficult to relax, and not enough places to sit in the pool.

Love the scenery and the natural inside and outside springs. The weather is a bit colder and wish to include the breakfast.

Rooms available are in old section of hotel. No A/C. First room had no WiFi in the room (many did not) and no A/C and overlooked noisy HVAC system. Only air was open window. They moved us to second room with WiFi, but same A/C problems. Fish bowl view into our room from balconies across. Awful.

It was a very good staying, so amazing! We have so much fun there and love it.

We loved the different pools and the hours that they are open, and the great staff. My husband and I did not like how the “quiet” indoor pools were being used by kids like a play area- cannonballs, rough housing and rowdy noise when the sign clearly says that it’s a quiet reflection area. We kept checking it periodically throughout the day, and even after 10pm it was like a kids’ water park. Hard to get our relaxation when we can’t find a calm and quiet area to decompress.

The outdoor pools are amazing. Kids had so much fun

We have come to Harrison for over 30 yrs. We have always enjoyed the quietness and ease of being at Harrison. But we've always gone in the winter months. This was the beginning of our trip across BC, so we we've never been at this time of year, plus it was a major holiday weekend. The resort was extremely busy. Nonetheless we were very surprised at how much the resorts policies had changed, such as allowing alcoholic drinks, or any drinks at all, allowed in the pools. The biggest disappointment was how much noise people were 'allowed' to make, especially in the 'QUIET' pools inside. It was so noisy that it made it impossible to relax and when I went to the spa to tell someone they just said I'd have to file a complaint at the front desk, which was already in overload from the numbers of people checking in and out. So I just left. The whole ambiance of what we've always experienced at Harrison seemed to have been gone and was not the quiet relaxing environment we'd known in the past. Especially for the rate increases that have happened over the years. This trip changed our experience of Harrison so much that we probably would not pay the high rates to go there again. It isn't worth it. With so many changes in the world, we are sad that Harrison too has changed too, and for us, not for the better.

Hot spring is good and complimentary tea time was great

The room was old and smelled. But the spa was good.

Condition of the room was disgusting. Carpets smelled and stained, wall paper bubbling off walls in several areas, very noticeable odour when in room for any length of time, almost a urine smell. Very noisy room as well. We did sleep well because of issues and checked out at about 500am not as planed.

Our budget friendly rooms have no AC but we do provide fans. Please consider staying in the east or west tower on your next stay. We offer a variety of special packages that you can view on our website.
