The hotel was in a nice area.

The layout of our 2 bedroom room was fantastic, the location is near all.major expressways , great shopping, and all the restaurants you can imagine. The down side is this hotel is clean but very worn and tired. Raveling carpet, dishwasher broken, banging loose shutters outside our window, and siding falling off the building

Very comfortable suite with a kitchen. We will definitely use again on a return trip.

Though I was on 4th floor, I faced the street and could hear all the street traffic below. The bed was very uncomfortable; I never had a good night sleep. The mattress sagged terribly and was giving me back aches and pillows offered no head comfort. TV very difficult to change stations. The one morning "complimentary breakfast" meal that I ate on Wednesday, May 21st was very poorly prepared. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for cheese omelette and when it was served it was already cold, and the Canadian ham was so thin that you could see through the meat. Noting else was fresh; most places have iced items like yogurt and other fresh sliced fruits ; there was no orange juice, bacon, scrambled eggs or hash brown potatoes. The seating was inadequate and up on high chairs and not enough tables and chairs. The T.V. next to wall was behind seating of tables; someone sitting there blocked screening for everyone else. I refused to eat any other meal there. Wall insulation between rooms was inadequate. I could here noises and people speaking next door, and sometimes late evening; it made it hard to hear TV or to sleep. The smell of someone cooking Korean food across hall was so terrible that I had to leave otherwise I was going to get sick. I will never stay in Marriott hotel, etc. again. Next time I'll rely AAA auto club to make my reservation or possibly stay at better hotel chain like the Westin motor lodge nearby this Marriott lodging.

I was in town for work. I arrived early at the hotel and they held my bags while I

Very friendly staff, breakfast was ok the first morning, but the second morning wished there was some meat, breakfast room a little small

The room was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Very similar to Residence Inn, but a notch below. The stove's burners, for example, were all crooked. No counter to sit at. Very nice desk arrangement with shelves if you needed to work from here for an extended period. I noticed that some guests had dogs and the first floor of the building I was in smelled a little like animals. Seemed like many other guests were using hotel for transient living. I would stay here while on personal travel but not for work again.

The location was very close to where I wanted to be. I liked the kitchenette because it gave me more space to store food and drinks.

We stayed here for a few nights while in the process of moving out of our house. Clean, friendly, and a great location

As an extended stay hotel, the room came with some nice extras like a full size frig, a sink and a sofa.

Everytime we have come to this hotel we have felt welcome and so comfortable. I recommend this hotel to everyone I know!

I had a good stay at this hotel. I really liked the kitchenette with a refrigerator. It let me store some food that I normally would have had to throw away.

One of the things that made my first visit to Chicago comfortable was my stay in TownPlace Suites. Not only was the place clean, the staff very friendly and helpful but its location afforded easy access to daily food supplies including those extra shopping convenience. I will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.I only wished it had been made more clear that a two bedroom suite for six people had only one bathroom. We managed fine with two children and four adults, but another bathroom would have been useful.

Great customer service

Great Experience will come back for sure

I was greeted at the front desk by two smiling, very welcoming workers even though I arrived well after 9 PM, which is a nice change from the norm. The room was very clean and spacious with an over-sized computer desk complete with a rolling table, which came in handy as I wanted to catch up on a few shows on hulu. The bathroom was very clean and was surprisingly large, especially considering the size of the rest of the room. The kitchen was small, but it had everything needed to make a meal for a single traveler or a family of four. It included a full-sized fridge, dishwasher (detergent under the sink), small stove, and I believe it had place setting for four. The continental breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I've seen. My only complaint (if I have to come up with one) is that the internet service isn't wireless. The town of Downers Grove (about 2 miles away) had everything a traveler/tourist would need, including some great pizza places and a wonderful cigar shop with a smoking lounge. This came in handy since there's a smoking ban in Illinois. The train ride into Chicago was about 45 minutes, and parking in the garage (about 3 blocks from the station) was only $3 for the entire day.

The room was large & comfortable. The kitchen was small but well equipped. My only complaint (an admitted "nit") was that when I returned to my room on the second night, I couldn't find the coffee pot. I called the front desk & the receptionist wasn't very helpful. I phoned the next morning (badly in need of my coffee!!) & the receptionist suggested that I look in the dishwasher because sometimes the housekeeping staff forgot to take things out. Why didn't the night person suggest that??? I would think it's a FAQ!
