Has some issued with the front desk help.My husband was told he could not come in they had no clue my husband was staying as a guest i happen to go up front to ask about cleaning towels garbage pick up was told cleaning gets done your 3rd day of stay.Me and my husband was told we could pack up and leave if we had a problem with there policy we drove 3hrs was treated very poorly so unprofessional staff .I would not recommend this place to anyone whole staff needs to be retrained have stayed in my share of hotels never experienced this in my whole entire life.Customer service is not there priority!

Property was fairly new. Hotel bar/restaurant was understaffed. Food was ok. Hotel room was not very well stocked. No lotion, laundry bag, trash bag

I loved the property. Smallish room but it had a section for watching tv on the huge flat screen. Cooked to order omelets for breakfast were fabulous and packed with veggies and cheeses of your choosing. They bill themselves as an “eco friendly” hotel but they use plastic cutlery with the c china dishes and real glasses and they have no bins to recycle paper and plastics. The location was perfect. I’ll stay there again but will contact Hyatt Corp to urge them to recycle.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Hyatt House Oak Brook. Please accept our sincere apologies that your experience fell short of your expectations. in regards to not giving your husband a key to the room, his name was not on the reservation. We do have have security procedures that we have to follow for your safety. I am sure you would not like us giving a key to just anyone. Since your husbands name was not on the reservation and you do not share the same last name, We had to follow our security procedures. We needed you, the authorized user of the room, permission to give him a key. Due to covid-19 we had to change our cleaning procedure to minimize contact between guest and our staff. We service rooms every 3 days. This is for the safety of our guests and employees. We are able to deliver any extra amenities you need in-between those 3 days. Though I know your current impression of the Hotel is not as favorable as I would like it to be, in the event your travel has you returning to the Windy City, I do hope you provide us with another opportunity to restore your faith in Hyatt House Oak Brook. If and when returning I would like to offer my services. Please feel free to contact me directly at your earliest convenience. it would be my pleasure to discuss with you about your recent stay in more depth.
