Great hotel! Superior staff! Excellent services and amenities. FREE parking inside the hotel for guests. Beautiful parks across the street. Easy bus, train, subway access to get around town.

I asked costumer service about our parking ticket it was a post to be free parking until 4:00 pm. We end out up paying $102.00 Dollars Very disappointed

clean,comfortable,fabulously decorated,helpful,friendly staff,conviently located,but in todays day and age most major hotel chains offer amenities like free Wi-Fi with your stay at thier property....NOT this property...was really disapointed that this basic amenity was an extra charge.

Great location, nice lobby, friendly staff. Rooms need updates. Wifi should not be so expensive $19/day if you aren’t a Hilton honor member is too much.

Apparently this building is so old that there can only be heat OR air conditioning on at a time. Since I stayed in what is technically a winter month, the heat was on. Since the weather outside was in the mid-fifties, the room was very warm. When I first arrived, the thermostat read 75 degrees. I turned the unit off, but it only got down to 71 degrees. Technicians suggestion was to open a window. I expect way more out of a Hilton property.

I like the large rooms, the beds however were not comfortable. The location was also a plus. The staff’s attitude can improve, NONE of the employees I interacted with were friendly, this was shocking to me for HH. They ALL need some serious training, especially the ones answering the phones, good grief where did you find these people or who trained them? They all have zero professionalism, it seemed like they were doing me a favor by staying there. The least that you can do is fake a smile, try it out, it would do wonders.

Right next to lake Michigan and Grant park and steps from Buddy Guys legends! Clean and reasonable cost for the room.

The history of this hotel is fascinating. Love the glamor of the lobby and grand ballroom. Booked this hotel for a volleyball conference based on fact that I was told there was a Free shuttle from hotel to conference center. Upon arrival when asking how often shuttle runs was told that there was no shuttle. Had to Uber back and forth which was anything from $12-17 per ride. Also didn’t appreciate charge for storing luggage!!

Location was great. Beautiful, well-maintained and clean. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was one of the hotel “ambassadors” who initially helped us find the Uber drop off locations, but proceeded to push us to make a decision at that moment to take a “special offer” for being Honors members. We were visibly in a hurry and she wasn’t being considerate about it at all. That one moment nearly ruined an otherwise pristine impression on the hotel.

Everything was smooth. No issues. We'll run establishment.

No individual hvac for lakefront rooms. If you are going to charge extra for those rooms, install fans or window units. Solution to opening a window which have never been clean is terrible solution for this type of hotel. So we slept in a room that stayed 77 to 78 degrees, will never come back to this hotel. Check in took nearly 1 hour and 10 mins.

There were dirty trays in the hallway for over 36 hours. The thermostat in our room didn’t work properly and after calling twice someone from maintenance ‘fixed’ it while we were gone by turning it off and opening a window. Unfortunately we had to sleep for three nights in a room at 75 degrees and didn’t sleep well. However, I will say the staff was exceptionally professional and friendly.
