The property is outdated and the workmanship is poor on the renovations, but the staff kept it clean

Property Is terrible outdated and smelled like mold thru the hall ways Perfect location on the magnificent mile THATS IT cracked heads walking around at night and felt vary unsafe after the sun goes down

nice and clean

it is okay for like 1 night only. old hotel, the room is old, smell old, no temperature control

Excellent location! Great view of the city and the L train. Price was really good and like the high ceilings. Lots of history, needs a good renovation to restore this landmark to make it beautiful again. Was skeptical at first with the yellow water that came out of the sink faucet, but cleared up after letting the water run for a while. Old pipes. Layers of paint chipping off every where, need to remove all that old paint and start over. This place has so much potential, sad that it has not been taken care of like it should be. Room was clean as could be I guess.

Excellent location

Clean and cute. Bed is comfortable.

Our view over Michigan avenue was great. No choice of dining. Very very limited

Great place to stay! I accidentally left a jacket in the closet and I emailed to see if they found it and they promptly sent it to my home for me, two day shipping! Great staff that went above and beyond for me! Beautiful and historic hotel as well!

the room was great, but the tub would clog easily in our room.

Old, dirty. Had to change rooms due to finding a toe nail upon arrival. Hotel is very creepy.

There was garbage behind the commodes. The toilet was leaking. No chairs to sit on other than the desk chair. Expensive water. The whole place smelled of pouporri. Lighting is terrible. Empty walls. I would nit stay here again.

good

Our stay was great . We enjoy historical buildings and the stories that come with it. Beautiful architecture. Plan ahead with parking. The parking lots were mostly full and if we didnt get lucky in the closest lot then it would have been inconvenient but if the valet parking is open then that would work best.

Its was a great price and good location
