Upon entering the property you are greeted by a well maintained and up-to-date lobby. Unfortunately, the rooms don't reflect what you see in the lobby. I paid for the king deluxe room to have more space. While I had enough space, the first room they put me in had a window that looked into a stairwell to the parking garage. No matter what time of the day, the room was very dark - dungeon like. Furthermore, the room was not in great shape. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling from water damage. The bathroom is very small. The toilet seat was discolored and looked as if it had never been replaced. After the first day, I asked to be moved to a different room. The gentleman working the reception area was very kind. He promptly found me another room with windows that actually looked outside. I was thankful that he did that. The second room had similar issues with the bathroom ceiling - peeling from what I assume was water damage. For what I paid for the room, I would have expected it to be in better condition. Location wise the hotel was a win. It was about two blocks from a redline stop which was very convenient to everything we did in Chicago. The hotel was very quiet which I appreciated. Again, compliments to Miche who was working that weekend. He was kind and very helpful.

Great location. Very walkable.

Generally a pretty good place, location is great and staff was friendly. They checked in with me a lot during the trip and helped when needed. After the first check in I indicated that the view in my room was bad (parking deck/AC vents) and the AC was loud so they moved me to a better view room. The new room was much smaller with a loud AC and a basic shower. I was happy with their attention but the rooms were a little off. Also, the bar was closed the two days I was there, we had some mobility issues on this trip and would have liked an in house drink.

Cool lobby, very pretty

Loved the location Good restaurants nearby Staff very helpful

Great location, lots of cool restaurants nearby and its by the water

price of parking the car. poor elevator function. entrance door damaged

Great location! The lobby and bar area was awesome as well. We had read the rooms were a disconnect from the vibe of the lobby but we were pleasantly surprised by their comfort as well. Bathroom was definitely tiny- not for big people and the hallways were narrow as well.

I was very disappointed to find out upon my arrival that there was a additional $22.00/day “resort fee” that was not made clear to me at the time I made my reservation through Orbitz

Gorgeous hotel and convenient, pretty location. Just has one gentleman on the hotel staff who was very rude to me and my fiance in two completely separate interactions. I'm surprised he still works

I like the bed I don’t like no wifi in my fist day telephone not working

Great location, great front desk help, Carlos at the bar was awesome.

The property was nice, clean and modern. But regardless of how nice and clean the property, it's the staff that makes your stay a pleasant one. The staff (front desk and the staff where they serve breakfast) were rude, unpleasant, not helpful, and have superiority complex. There were 3 of us staying at the hotel. They give you one piece of paper for breakfast voucher. But I woke up really early and decided to go to breakfast first. But that is not possible. All of us have to be there. I said just cross out 3 and mark it 2. The answer is NO. They could resolve this by issuing 3 separate breakfast vouchers - so each visitor can go to breakfast at their leisure. Not only are they rude, their service and attention to customers are terrible.

One of the elevators was out of commission. All guests were required to wait a long time to use the single elevator in use. It was quite inconvenient. Otherwise everything was very nice, including the room, the staff, the meals, and the general upkeep of the hotel.

Good evening, Thank you very much for your feedback! We're glad we were able to be of some assistance; although we weren't able to entirely solve every issue that came up during your stay, I appreciate you letting us know about them so that we can fix still deal with them. That being said, unfortunately last week was our last week without the bar being open daily. Either way, thanks again, and I hope you have a good day!
