This is a nice hotel with basic rooms. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable though the pillow could have been fluffier. The nice thing about the hotel is its location. It's 3 blocks from the Roosevelt metro station and we took the blue line from the airport changing to the red line at Jackson and getting off at Roosevelt. The best thing though is its proximity to both the Field Museum and the She'd aquarium. We walked to both. There are some nice dining options within a few blocks, a Starbucks 2 blocks away, a Trader Joes 2 blocks away and the Yolk for breakfast and lunch around the corner. We've stayed here before and will stay again.

The staff repeatedly went out of their way to help. Valet parking was extremely convenient.

Nothing unique. This was a standard hotel at an upscale price. $124 per night. No Breakfast, No Swimming Pool, No Fitness Room. Staff was somewhat friendly, although they were very "watchful".. not a very comfortable experience. I would not stay here again.

Cost of room very reasonable. Hotel can benefit from some TLC. Carpet in elevators was old, torn and dirty. Room bathroom door was off the hinge, had to lift the door and pull to close it. Other than, we had pleasant experience. Close to the Lake, Buckingham fountain and shopping.

There were only two main issues with this hotel. 1. The fact that they got rid of the original tv remotes which took away the ability to connect to a fire stick or ANY streaming service via the tv 2. There are signs that say "No Mask, No Service" but this was not enforced in the common areas!

Excellent price, location and value. This has become my favorite hotel in Chicago. Easy to reach by mass transit from either airport. Walking distance to museums, theaters, Navy Pier, cruises and boat tours. Lots of interesting places to eat in neighborhood.

Convenient

Nothing was good at this location. It has roachs. No microwave in the rooms or lobby

Loved the view . There was fruit snack wrappers , some kind of food , from whom ever was there before us under the bed . No free parking for what we pay for a room , very expensive parking . That was not told to us up front about the parking . If u don’t have a credit card your in for a big surprise about parking and room deposit . Room deposit was not said about it till u get there . Was not happy at all about room deposit , or parking . Not very much kid friendly restaurants in area ,.

I do understand that this facility was still under renovation when I booked it and the roads were being constructed outside, I’d like to point out some flaws in my stay. First was mostly on safety, when I arrived in the area there was no security checks or assistance that was done on people going in and out the hotel and what makes it worst especially at night there were strangers/bystanders who looks suspicious outside. In addition to that, I noticed in the halls of the hotel I can distinctly smell marijuana and loud noises of neighboring rooms. Second thing I’d like to say is the way parking is being difficult; from limited slots, expensive come to think although I don’t really mind it wasn’t worth it cause you can’t easily access your car or park it in a safe designated place and I don’t even know where is they park it. What makes it hard is the way they approached me in the end that the moment I checked out it can’t be negotiated anymore and we can’t even extend longer with the park for the reason there were construction outside. Lastly, I wish the staff would be more pleasant and in a less demeaning approach. Although I applaud that some pf the staff who were helpful. I just wish this hotel if they are going to make the aesthetic better, hospitality still is the top priority. Thanks.

Okay for money. Not great. Rip in blanket on bed. Sink was cracked and fixed. Only allowed us one parking space and charged us $40 night for it. Wouldn’t allow us to pay for another spot. No one answered phone hardly ever. Staff was nice tho and helpful. 3/5 stars. Good for less money.

The location of hotel was a plus. However, for the brand of hotel I was disappointed with service and cleanliness. I didn’t know there was no early check in, nor could you drop off luggage. I came down by train with tickets to the Science museum and Art institute. I had to forgo both events due to not being able to store luggage. Check in is at 3:00, check out is noon the next day. The museum and art institute both close at 4:00. They open at 11:00. It was impossible to do because of luggage. The hotel was dirty. There was paint peeling off of my hotel door at the bottom. The hallway of the floor I was on was filthy. There was paper all over the hallway, an unwrapped cough drop on the floor of the hallway and it just needed cleaning. Very disappointed all around with this.

The ceiling has patches of paint missing very odd could of had a microwave and fridge

The check in was the worst ive ever experienced...

The staff were especially wonderful. Good location to get around, clean and comfortable.

Excellent location and value of money. Stay there frequently.
