They were short staffed. Our room phone did not work. I had to personally go to the front desk 3 times just to get towels. The tissue box was empty. They did not restock the room our entire visit. I had to go to the desk for coffee & cups for our 2nd morning. Poor grab bags instead of a hot breakfast. I could go on but I feel like I am ranting at this point.

Older property with very small rooms. It was quiet and clean.

The front desk night person was not friendly nor informative. The sheets are super thin and bed rock hard. The lights by the bed flicker on and off depending on where you lay down. I paid for continental breakfast but was not informed the restaurant was closed so did not even get breakfast besides a water and packaged muffin. Will not return.

Overall the room was average, or about a 5 on a scale of 10. The bathroom was clean and wash cloths were plentiful. The linens for the living room were clean and comfortable. The room is out of date, especially the bathroom. The toilet was too small and the location of the tissue roll required a contortionist to reach it. The price was a bit high. There needs to be a general update. There were no working vending machines any where.

We chose to stay at the Chestnut Tree Inn due to recent reviews regarding cleanliness. I'm sorry to say the room we had was not as clean as I expected. There was a hair on the sheets when I pulled back the thinnest bedspread ever. There was a lot of soap residue from an old bar and another hair in the shower. An old french fry in the trashcan under the bag (why?), and the floor needed vacuuming. The pillows were in terrible condition: 2 lumpy and without density and 2 flat and hard. I'm still lamenting that I forgot my own! And the wi-fi was nonexistent in our room. I thought it was the poor mountain service and didn't blame the inn until I met a lady by the pool the night before we left who said it was great in her room! Too late now! The pool was nice but thanks to the rain it was full of bugs and spiders and I never saw anyone but another guest attempt to clean it. The location was perfect, however!

The beds were pretty comfortable. The shower was nice. The complimentary breakfast was really good, and the staff was very friendly. It was cold on the evening of our stay, so we had to run the heat. The problem was that the heat was all-or-nothing. It would crank the room up to about 85 degrees in 15 minutes, but wasn't able to keep a steady, comfortable temperature. I spent the night waking up every hour or so to turn the heat on, then back off again after 10 minutes.

Inexpensive and close to casino, clean room and good, hot breakfast buffet. Bathroom could have used some minor TLC but to be expected with age of hotel.

Check in was fast, Room was clean and smelled good, and breakfast was amazing!

Good breakfast, great rates, close to city center.

This hotel is Convenient and reasonably priced, we visit often.

The room is very spacious and clean, the bed sleeps great, and the breakfast is amazing!

It was a great stay for the price. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. Would most likely stay again if in the area.

only reakfast was served-- was ok-- but no dinner. was closed/ not good when traveling on a motorcycle. nowhere to eat within walking distance

The room is very nice and spacious and the breakfast is awesome, but I do bring my own bacon and cook it in the microwave before I go to breakfast. We stay here all the time!

The BR sink was clogged & I had to unclog the hair from it. The a/c was broken (set on continuous & 60 degrees), but only seemed to circulate the room air.

Curtious and helpful staff, clean facilities and room, and location.

Breakfast was pulled from the site in March so your statement is not true. I can't tell what night person you dealt with because your review is Anonymous. Have a nice day.

The room you stayed in was renovated in 2018 , sorry you didn't appreciate the new look. I am not sure where your toilet paper was but this is a first for this comment. The vending machines are all being moved to the lobby area, it is a work in process, sorry for the inconvenience. We are not a 5 star hotel but we are certainly above a score of 2. Have a nice day

I am unable to find your reservation in our system to find out what room you were in. This is NOT our cleanliness standard and it will be addressed. We offer the best WiFi available to us, we are in the mountains at the bottom of a valley....signals are blocked it is what it is and it is offered to all our guests for free. It is never appreciated to get a negative review for something free and out of our control.

Did you report this to anyone? Because I don't see any notes at the desk about it. So instead of giving us a chance to correct and you say all the other nice things about us...you rather go on line and give us a 1 the lowest score you could possible get, hey thanks for NOTHING.
