Very pleasant trip. Staff was super friendly
Arrived on time. No delays.
Appreciated that when our flight to LAX was delayed we were given the option to change flights at no cost and with ease in order for us to land at our destination at an appropriate time. Thank you!
More leg room on the CRJ than larger Boeing on Previous flight
I traveled with my daughter and granddaughter who had been in a horrific car accident. They were in the hospital for a week and had just been released. We were on our way home and the staff was amazing. They were patient and helpful and so kind. We had special needs to lift my granddaughter from her wheelchair to her seat and they listened to our instructions making her pain less. Thank you so much
Nice quick flight home
The charge for seating is terrible. I get clostrifobia so need aisle seats, just was charged $27 for a seat on Phoenix to Boise flight!!
I like Delta. Just seemed better. More helpful about sitting together with an economy flight.
Missed the movies!
Even though the weather caused a lot of trouble, the crew and United never let me down.
Plane slightly dirty. Cold cabin. Half full flight meant I got row to myself. Small overhead bins, but I got a green tag to check baggage at gate.
See my other comments on the Phoenix and Dallas flights.
Boise is a prime destination for nature tourism, and visitors to the capital of Idaho will also find a choice of indoor attractions including museums, historical sites, and theaters. Begin your vacation by saving time and money on flights to Boise as well as hotel and rental car packages with Orbitz.com.
Your flight will land at Boise Airport, which is located about four miles from downtown at 3201 Airport Way in Boise. While the airport has facilities for handling international flights, it presently welcomes only domestic flights. Six airlines and several charter companies provide service to and from Boise Airport.
Eight major car rental firms operate at Boise Airport, so whether you reserved your car through Orbitz.com or you decide you want one when you arrive, youll easily find a rental car. If the hotel you booked with Orbitz.com offers a shuttle, it will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim, at the green-colored curb, and taxis are available nearby at the black-colored curb. Private shuttles pick you up at the blue-colored curb, and bus service departs from the purple-colored curb. There is no set price for a taxi ride, but several companies, including Boise Airport Taxi at (208) 424-2234 and Boise Taxi (208) 995-8294 offer quotes by phone. A bus ride to downtown Boise with the Valley Regional Transit Route 3 public bus costs $1, and the bus leaves the airport every twenty minutes during peak hours.
The coldest months in Boise are December and January, when visitors can expect to encounter temperatures as low as 24F and highs of only 37F or 38F. The warmest months are July and August, when lows are 60F and highs are about 90F. April and October are pleasant, with highs in the low-to-mid 50s F and lows are in the 40s F. March and November are somewhat cooler than April and October. The hot season includes May, June and September as well as July and August, although May temperatures only reach highs of 72F and in June and September the highs are about 80F. Precipitation is slight but steady all year round, although the wettest month is December and hardly any rain falls in July. Bring a collapsible umbrella, and even in the hot season, a light jacket can be useful at night.
The Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center is a great place to become familiar with the natural beauty of Boise. It is free of charge, and you can explore its outdoor trails and pond or visit its small nature museum. You will probably see deer along the trails and large fish in the pond. The Idaho Botanical Garden is a must-see at any time, and during the Christmas season tourists and locals alike are dazzled by its display of holiday lights. The Basque Museum and Cultural Center commemorates the heritage of the Basque people, some of whom migrated to Idaho and made a mark on the local scene, and it is but one of many museums that history buffs will enjoy visiting. The Old Idaho Penitentiary is another worthwhile place to visit so you can experience the unique history of Boise.
Boise is a great place for hiking and biking in the spring, summer, and fall as well as for winter sports. When you use Orbitz.com to book your flights to Boise along with hotel rooms, rental cars, and other travel needs, youll save time and money, so you can do more in Boise.
